2 chars to run sanctums, whats the best combo?

Both of my chars can fly Machs very well, its just the investment, all the mach fits i found for sanctums are close to 3-3.5bn fitted including mach, and i have the isk but i really am to cheap to spend 6-7bn isk on 2 machs.

My main can fly Archon perfectly (carrier V, Fighters V etc, was a Aeon pilot but sold the aeon, bought a bunch of crap and now want another aeon lol) and both chars are perfect tengu pilots (All subs to V etc) Main can also fly Paladin and Golem.

i dont plan on looting (unless it escalates ofc) and just collecting the bounties.


Does anyone have any suggestions, ive never really done sanctums before, have made most my isk in WH, but i am so burnt out on WH life i just cant do it anymore.

Any combination of all those toons you listed will do fine in Sanctums.

Dual box carriers to rip through sanctums in 10 minutes. Better with Thanatos, but I'm sure an Archon could put out decent DPS. I make around 50 - 100m per hour in my level 4 skilled Thanatos. 3 TPs with Minmatar or Gallentee fighters can kill frigs that orbit outside your smartbomb range, which minimizes time you use switching drones. Stay aligned to a PoS and its no more risky than any other BS. My Thanny also only cost about 1b to build, and another b to fit. A few full days of ratting or some good PVP and I make it all back.

Two Tengus will crush sanctums.

Golem might not have the range depending on what you are fighting. That and torpedos are slow as hell. And they are expensive.

Dual Ravens, even, cheap, replaceable, should be fine.

Dominixs are also sexy with a potential 1000+ DPS with rails and drones.

If you're not doing angel sanctums then the stats are a bit worse but it should still be the best subcap choice.

the only problem with sentries is it can be a close call warping out if a hostile logs in or enters system. at least being aligned your pretty much safe (unless your a tardo and dont warp at first sign of neut/red in local)

Guess it depends what region you in. I always use a carrier and whatever BS does best damage against rats. So in sansha space carrier and NM. I am now in Angel space so carrier and an arty maelstrom. Just switched to using the new drone damage mod's and sentries now are far better to use. No travel time. Always pays to keep an eye on local and intel channels. Maelstrom is buffer fit and I use a cap shield rep to keep it alive Big smile. Use warriors from maelstrom for frigs.

I run and Xl booster Xtype fit Mach which costs a ton correct, But one of those then have your carrier at station to assign you fighters and you can burn em down quick. The best tick i have to date running hidden hubs (no frigs) is 42 mil. I was able to just about finish the third one b4 the tick came in.
