Right now I'm running a solo wormhole corp with two of my chars. As I live in a wormhole system with lowsec static I'm considering to expand my pvp opportunities by joining FW with my corp.

While I hope to find targets I can kill alone, of course I'm also interested in forming up with fellow militia members. Since my home system is moving, I won't have a permanent base in empire and will need to find comrades in arms on an ad-hoc basis.

So, how do you guys communicate with each other to organize? I intend to join the Amarr forces. I heard that they are losing, so I guess there'll be more targets and hopefully the enemy will have a lot of incompetent fools who are only in it for ISK. Also, I like to keep my harem of Minmatar slaves Lol

And is it even worth it or are there so few FW players (targets) that is doesn't outweigh the hassle with not being able to freely move through hisec?

edit: After reading some threads, it seems that there is no lack of players to fight against and FW is generally a lot of fun. But will I find fights in a lot of FW systems or just on the front lines?

I've done exactly what you're proposing to do, and let me tell you it's a great thing. I'd have a few militia folks that would love to run with me, so we'd huddle up in my wormhole and whenever a lowsec popped, we'd roam. Plenty of neuts, and you'll be nextdoor to a fw lowsec area anywhere you come out, giving it variety.

The problem you'll run into is that the Amarr militia mentality is "big giant fleets", and it's a fracking holy hell fit to get them to do small gang guerilla stuff. That'll be your biggest blocker. If you're looking for a gud fite, try the Caldari militia. They are very skirmishy and mostly fly in small gangs. You'll have better luck that way and have more fun.

And you won't have to listen to all the Amarr whiners.

_It's very simple, really. If you see Tengus on scan, they are ratting. If you see a shitload of Tengus, the Russians are blobbing. If you see Proteuses on scan, they will be on top of you in about a second. If you see a shitload of Proteuses, the big boys are having a goodfight. _

Sounds like good advice, thanks :) Although I like Amarr best because of backstory and their style, the chars I'll use in FW are actually mostly flying shield ships, so Caldari is probably better anyway, assuming that the Amarr militia favors Amarr ships. And since both factions are allied I can still fight for Amarr, too.

I have tried convincing my corporation to join up with FW for more PVP experience as we are all pretty much awful. The idea didn't get much attention. I would be interested in seeing how this works out for you.

The Amarr militia flies all ship types. Amarr, Minmatar, Caldari, Gallente.

I suppose it can be a little blobby in some places (Huola), but there is nothing to prevent you and your corpies from separating from the blob and flying in frigate wolf packs or solo.

I'm not sure what the state of Caldari faction war is. However, AFAIK the Amarrians are fairly outnumbered right now, which translates into 'multiple target opportunity'.

Aw, sweet! Someone else to introduce to the Gallente "Jesus Blob"!

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
