Brilliant.

I bet Goonswarm has industrialists making Hulks to replace those that are lost.

You, too, can profit from Hulkageddon by inventing Hulks.

Nice move, colour me impressed.

I just had some very twisted thoughts though, the whole thing reads like
- **** off some highsec carebears maybe even force CCP to do something about the risk vs reward in EVE
- show CCP how broken the tech moon mining income really is
- this will let more people thinking about moving into 0.0 and if it is only for mining
- in the process we kill some bots, although i don't care but nice side effect anyway
- more ISK for any 0.0 alliance via mining
- more ISK for OTEC

That's a whole lot of good reasons to finance suicide ganking aside from the usual "harvest tears"

Lies. Goonswarm does not have any Industrialists. We certainly do not have a vast collection of researched BPOs of the various exhumer hulls and equipment, and we certainly do not have people working around the clock on creating a huge stockpile of these for a future intentional and artificial Technetium drought that will cause the prices of hulks to go up 5000% just in time for us to start selling them in Jita.

We also absolutely do not have nullsec mining ops going round the clock to stockpile billions of minerals to make up for the sudden lack of cheap / free minerals from the Drone regions and nerf to Meta 0 drops.

Absolutely none of these disastrous rumors have any bearing in reality and you should continue playing the game as normal.

Oh god, if we could wardec the NPC corps... We'd park 30-40 people on the other side of the exit gates of every newbie system and bottleneck between trading hubs in EVE and grind, grind, GRIND our way to a better EVE. :D

Pretty sure there isn't anything "emergent" about ganking miners

the drone region nerf jacked the profitability of mining, yet instead of mining going up in highsec it halved

that means ~the terror~ is working regardless of what any npc bleeting alts might claim

we're providing game content to suicide gankers who won't have to grind up ISK to buy more destroyers, we're providing game content to the miners who get to play the game to replace their exhumers

everyone wins!

One could go so far as to say that Goons have, yet again, saved Eve.

Begging for a backlash that is just not going to come any time soon because the fossil fuel of high-sec is just too soft and disorganised.
It's going to take a lot more heat and consistent pressure to force the independent units of empire into a matrix that HTFU and gives back what it takes. But when it eventually does - it will be diamond and ageing nullsec entities will need to look to their boarders.

Also, pigs will have levitation implants.

Other than the numerous ways there already is?

Paying a bounty for a kill is nothing new or emergent. Maybe in perceived scale only.

it means you don't have to spend time grinding ISK with an alt to keep buying ganking ships

Maybe this was addressed earlier, but search function provided no clues. Are the indefinite bounties only for T2 Exhumers? Are there any ongoing payouts for T1 Barges and Orcas?
