Hello !

This wormhole...
"Has had its stability reduced, but not to a critical degree yet"
I've read many guides and I can't define if this means 45 or 50% of mass left.

If anyone is able to answer precisely.. Thanks !

between 10% and 50%.

Or more elaborate between 10.0000001% and 49.99999%

Why can I also find 45% then ? I can understand a rounding from 45 to 50, but why would certain sites do the opposite ?
At the same time, why would websites give a number if it's not precise ?

Possibly because the wormholes themselves are no precise. The actual total mass can vary by I believe upwards of +-10%

I've seen that yeah ^^

Nobody never tried to define precisely this number by making a huge amount of small jumps in key times ?

The number is definitely 50% but people don't understand and write all sorts of things.

All right ! I assume that this 45% story probably comes from people finding a wormhole in the +1-10% total mass, jumping 500kt and doesn't understanding why its still above 50%

CCP states it's 45%. Or, at least, the page has been reviewed by CCP Habakuk (contributors list).

I will say, however, that my own experience has always been 50%, with the 10% variance on top. So believe what you will, I guess.

It also says EOL is 25%, has anyone every found that to be the case on WH that aren't 24 hours? EOL is always 4 hours I think.

I believe that whole wiki is fubared.

It's 6 hours for a WH with a 24-hour life span, 4 hours for those with 16 hours. I've lived with N766 and a B274 statics, and it was correct in both those cases.

Maybe I don't know as much as I think I do (almost certainly true) but our static is 24h and I'd bet like 100 bucks right now it's 4 hour EOL.

My experience tends to agree with Nathan, but I've also seen a few anomalies in time left. (4 hours becoming 6, never seen 6 becoming 4 however)

It's always 4 hour EOL on a 24 hour hole. Plus or minus the 10% variance of course.

I know because i stare at holes all day.

And 25% of 24 is not 4. So yeah, wiki is fubared.

Just to clarify on the percentage error thing: there's a difference between percentage difference and percentage point difference.

10% of 45% is 4.5% - meaning anywhere between 40.5% and 49.5%

I think though, the standard deviation is pretty narrow as in my experience it's tended to be very spot on to 45% nearly all of the time.

EONL is definitely 25% on the WH statics I have known (16hrs and 24hrs total life giving 4 and 6) but there's nothing to suggest this hasn't been improperly applied to some static types.

"Do not touch anything unnecessarily. Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally." -Soviet infantry manual,

When I lived in a C6 > C6 WH (the static is a 24h hole) EOL time was always 4 hours.
We kept good track of iit and often ran out WHs on time in those days.

Couldnt tell you the EOL time on our current C5 static since i don't think i've ever seen it time out.

There is no Bob.

My 3 years of experience watching and rolling holes says it's 50/10 on the mass and always 4 hours for RENL (16 or 24 hour holes).

Probably 4 Hours, but I've had a few holes last longer than they should before.
