Dont know about all you tadgers but if all the rumoors about it being a remake of san andreas island but bigger...I am loving this.

I just hope its much better than GTA IV because that was an utter shitstorm.

The Official Website

This guy is very good so far, some bad rumors and info but tbh its nice to have a little bit of a tease.

Linkage

I just hope Rockstar take the original idea of San Andreas, hunger, weight, strenght, skills, car customization, spray tags, hidden packages etc etc and really focus on the gameplay and storyline, the last thing I want is eye candy like GTA IV with a crap story, completely unstable PC port and barely anything to do with all that money.

If anyone else has any Solid info on it, post it here!

I would like that very much, yes I would. San Andreas has been the best of the lot so far IMO. And I concur with IV being a load of junk. I tried but I just couldn't get into it. I had several issues with it but I think the worst was that social networking crap. I mean my character was getting more calls than Paris Hilton, I just couldn't get anything done.

Also I wish they would finally bring back multiplayer. The very, very first GTA that had the overhead view had it and ever since then they leave out that option. I know that outside groups have reverse engineered the game and made a multiplayer but all the sites I went to I just did not trust to download the required items, I'd rather it come from the company itself.

Oh, and your link is broken, try removing the http from the back of it.

its been a while since i played it but was san andreas the one with the "gang sector control" at the end basically faction warfare for gta?
if it was i would love to see that idea expanded upon either by rival online gangs or having more ability and control over your homies ie send certain gangs to certain areas keep control going buy import and sell drugs and illegals etc raid houses and force owners to pay you protection money.

Yes it was. You send your guy into a contested area, shoot up some rivals, and a battle would start.

Yep this.

Think about it back when SA was released things where a bit slow back then and game coding was no where near as advanced as it is now (physics and all tht jazz).

If they reacreate San Andreas and put in all those great ideas they had, Skills, health/sex appeal, clothes, car customization and make it in this day and age, you can only imagine how FU*KING awesome it will be.

I am just right down worried that they will be polluted by this stupid Graphics > Gameplay (thats what made GTA:SA so good, its graphics where the same as III and vice but years apart)

I hope they dont not **** up.

GTA IV had native multiplayer, no mods required.

I will agree that it was a pretty looking game but mostly boring. San Andreas was a lot of fun - probably why I find Saints Row so enjoyable. If they take the technical achievement of 4 and mate it with the fun of San Andreas, it could be a great game.
