Trade Window Eating Items Not Considered A Bug?

I submitted a bug report about the trade window destroying items and got a response back that it is not a bug but rather a "support issue" and I should file a petition. Not a bug?!?! NOT A BUG?!?!? Are you guys high?!?!?!?!?!?!

I resubmitted another bug report about it explaining that it is a bug (wouldn't think that would be required *sigh*).

Can any CCP employee that might read this reach over and smack the people that filter the bug reports and let them know if they tell me to submit a petition again I will become livid beyond anything mankind has ever known? I'm normally an easygoing kind of guy but this is not acceptable.

umad bro? YES EXTREMELY!

I've just said in another thread that I too am still having this issue. The "work around" that CCP seem to have encouraged is to do everything via contract, which on the face of it, while cumbersome and time consuming is at least useful.

Apart from one small problem, noobs can't use contracts, so how are people supposed to gift things to them if its gonna just vanish in the trade window?

Thanks for the info. I saw in another post about how to get items back that weren't showing up in the station hangar by submitting a contract and then canceling it. Problem is the items that vanished from my inventory are gone completely and do not show up in my assets list or in the contract window where you select items to put in the contract.

I petitioned the lost items right after the problem occured. Then I sumbitted a bug report to attempt to let the devs know they have a serious bug that is destroying items completely from the game, not just making them invisible. The response I got back was "submit a petition, this is a customer support issue" as if I am a complete idiot (maybe so, but at least give me the benefit of the doubt). Then the bug report was trashed (filtered).

CCP, I'm not submitting bug reports for fun. I do not consider it a mini-game. It is not something I do in my spare time or when I am bored. I have much better things to do with my time. I am trying to let you know something is broken with your game and needs to be fixed. For the love of whatever deity you do or do not believe in I am not making this crap up!

Here is the issue.
BUG: Trade window will destroy items SOMETIMES (NOT ALWAYS, trying 5 times does not constitute "not reproducible") when you place several items in the trade window, wait a few seconds, then cancel the trade. Poof! Gone! Like a magic trick in Vegas! These items do not reappear after downtime. Relogging does not help. They are not in the contracts list so I cannot submit a contact to get them back. They are not in my assets list anywhere.

Here is a timestamp of exactly when this occured of it helps anyone at CCP who may even start to think about caring. The names of the characters are Del'Garret and Par'Tressak.

Please contact your CSM delegate to have them look into this problem.

"Not reproducible" (trashed)! Jesus Christ riding a platypus uphill backwards on a Thursday...

It will be a cold day in hell before I ever submit another bug report.
