You know...the one you said we'd see before last week was over? It's amazing, CCP has people literally WANTING to give them money, but you guys are making it impossible for us to want to fork cash over to a company full of empty promises.

It all goes back to a statement your CEO made....watch what they do, not what they say. Right now, we're all watching what you do, and it's really amazing--your inability to deliver and meet deadlines...

Shocked ... it's a few business days late, end of the world much?

...clearly the Ishukone Watch Scorpion is the fifth horseman of the Apocalypse, i.e. the Brown Rider, otherwise known as Poopie.

the point is, they sit there and tell us how :awesome: they are, at delivering and listening to the customers. You would figure theyd learn not to set dates for anything, as we're going to be holding them to them, but they still **** the bed and do it.

I suppose...

It'd be different if it were an expansion that had a launch date that was delayed or something (which has happened), but I dunno... a dev blog? They are human after all, maybe the guy (or girl) caught a stomach bug or something... if there is a history of these kinds of delays with this particular developer or the particular team responsible for whatever topic the blog was going to be about sure, but... if not, I wouldn't read into it too much.

Pun intended. Big smile

I'm not the one throwing an internet tantrum.

I merely pointed out that universalizing your discontent with the company as a whole and subsequently attributing everything they do that doesn't go your way to be some nefarious plot or foul deed afoot, is rather... well, whimsical.

No... the promise of a revolutionary™ dev blog where they are supposedly refocusing™ is just an attempt to keep people subbed until Winter™ to squeeze the last bit of cash out of the customers before finally sacrificing EVE on the altar to Hilmar's Greed. You heard it here first... EVE servers are shutting down in the coming Spring.

The devblog is a lie.

Well, if the end is coming in the spring, that means I will no longer have to read vapid, pointless rant postings from mkint.

A silver lining, methinks.

It seems there's a lot of dev blogs already written on the publication pipeline. To the point that, according to one CSM, if something was written right now, it wouldn't be posted for 2-4 weeks. Is it possible to accelerate things a bit? Surely proof-reading doesn't need much time to get done...

CSM writes the dev blogs now? They reviewed it, and kicked it back, it shouldnt take more than a day to re-write a dev blog. Especially one as important as they say it is...
