just came back to the game after long absence to get hulkageddoned in a 0.5 system. My bad, didnt know it was on at all and was mining ice which does lend to semi-afk, sound was off, you can fill out the blanks

So using the wonderfull system of buying PLEXs with real money and converting to isk and given the fact that i am very upset and have some real life cash, i would like to make the EVE-lives of oldest player who ganked me and that of the CEO of the corp (whohoo it was a joined effort), a living hell!

I have given them until this time tommorow to reimburse the loss of ship and contents, and i am prepared to start spending some isk to get them killed and then get them killed again until they quit or i get my money back. I dont mind just logging in the game ofr that and play WoW the rest of the time.

If there are any takers for this please do reply.

I did petion CCP proactively to make sure that if i do this i will not be harrassing *them* ;)

On a side note : no mercs would chase them, and if someone does it, it's one of their alts.

better option is to save your isk and move on its eve and unless you want to spend income like water for a petty squabble get over it

Basicaly its screwed up.

You have the ice belts which take like 6 minutes for each cycle and *each* roid has enough for 8000 cycles! You have a hulk which can (almost) really not be hurt by rats in a 0.5 system and you are expected *NOT* to AFK? Not to mention the nerveracking stupid sound system which everyone turns off

Then you get hulkageddon which i hadnt seen anything about in local or even in eve related advertisment like the ones you see when u log in. (Tell that to the "council of stellar management")

And a bounty system thats (seems) screwed up.

I am not sure what i am going to do but i did cancel my subscription update. It is a bit sad i agree since i been in the game since the start almost and under the impression that certain areas are safe but with lower returns/possibilities game features and others not so safe but more lucrative returns, and features like capital ships etc.

This is the second time this is happening the first time it was 2 years ago when i afked in Jita with 300m3 worth of datacores which i had picked up from a route through a low sec system in a cloacked buzzard. The way back was a 20 jump long trek in high sec which i autopiloted and when i checked back.. i was in a pod. Suicide ganked in Jita. This cant happen anymore since now when you set destinations to a station it autopilots you and docks you too, that wasnt the case then.

I guess the game is not for me. I am certainly not prepared to keep paying for another 2 years until the strengthen concord and improve responce times. I mean really do you expect us to sit and watch roids for 30minutes?! (had cargoholdoptimisation I's and expanders to minimise that travel time between hauls)

I am a carebear, mostly do reasearch and manufacturing and i do believe it has a function in game (manufacturing) and some missions and never been in null sec except in a couple of wormholes.

It was in my plans to try and maybe join a 0.0 corp at some stage, but it seems in the end its a PVP game

No hard feelings to the ones that killed me. By the same token I would make you suffer the same fate. Nothing personal. And i just might.

And its not a petty squabble. You spend time and real life money to make 350mil isk. I wasnt in a newbie frigatte, i wasnt looking for trouble.

What is suicide ganking exactly? Your playstyle? Maybe CCP should open it as a carrer path for you.

The fact that you are abusing a game mechanic, for you can do this in a 1.0 zero system too, to grief someone because, what?, probably you have a problem and want people to know it, makes *you* in need of a psychologist, makes *me* unlucky, and *CCP* irresponsible.

So what you are saying is, you want to play this game afk, and make isk not being at your computer? And then you cry when someone ruins that for you?

i wasnt really afk, i was doing game related stuff, u do need a spreadsheet if you are manufacturing, and if you have an " ice roid" that has 7000 units u can mine 3 of those units every 6 minutes and u have a cargohold for 15 of those units, wouldnt you use the time to do something else?
