No I know you guys have limitless money and industrial power. The real limit is skilled characters you are willing to have take a standing hit

It's a funny old game, you can get to -10 and keep on gankin' in highsec.

The only limit on how often people will do this, is their level of commitment.

Sure, you can keep griefing (let's not call it ganking, I'd like to reserve that word for low sec players who are far more creative than you) all you want regardless of your sec level. But for all that other stuff - like - moving goods to and from the market hubs, well, that's hard to do with -10. So you can choose to stay a null-bear forever where -10 doesn't matter, but you will always have to rely on someone else to move your stuff around for you for a long, long time. Like you said, it takes a lot of commitment. On a throwaway alt, who cares. But on a real char? Hmmm.

The "use an alt" angle has been well covered, but there's a much bigger pile of shitard in this message.

Why would being -10 a problem, except for highsec?

You act like everything of value is in highsec .... which, frankly, it is not. For an ice miner to call someone a "bear" is frankly, borderline ridiculous. Can you even keep a straight face saying it?

The phrase "null bear" is completely horse-****. You can apply it to a few corps (and alliances, sure) but you can't apply it to alliances who are, in effect, doing PVP on an daily / hourly basis.

For what it is worth, I am not affiliated to Goonswarm in any way. I do however gank ice miners, because ... well you get bullshit like this to laugh about. I also spend time in lowsec (where all the PVP occurs in your head) as well as null and wormholes. I'm also pretty creative in how I blow up tards who aren't mining ice. A recent side hobby has been extorting ice miners for large sums of ISK.

A mail here, a mail there.. and I have a few hundred mil for about 15mins work. Stack that against your "60mil an hour" boast and laugh at yourself. Hint: 60mil an hour is possible within 5 weeks of starting the game. Hint 2: it doesn't involve mining.

This ISK I use to fit alpha ships to blow up more miners. Which no RR and "fast lockers" and "neut ships" has yet to find a way to block.

It was an idea I was playing with. Thanks for pointing that out, lolz. Almost as good as posting gonegalt in a public forum. All I have to do is change the name now.

somehow i don't think the jabber channel name is gonna help you much

No, that's why I burned the channel with my post yesterday. Apart from a few laughs I wasn't getting any useful intel anyway apart from "hmm the goons are up to something". The suicide bomber always has tactical surprise anyway.

that would be because a jabber channel isn't an ingame channel

What I see here, is 9 accounts being used to support 6 actual miners.

Good ISK per hour in that setup, then? Roll

And who collects the minerals to make those ships and the fuel to run the towers of the stations where they are made? Miners. This is the old blah blah I'm a piwate I am so much better than you argument. You play your way, I play mine. While you might like doing 15 minutes spurts of adrenaline, I like being able to do other stuff between cycles. But just the fact that the goons are able to squeeze the price of isotopes so easily underlines just how badly you need miners in the game. It's all very well now that everyone has huge stockpiles, but even goons are going to need oxygen isotopes eventually when the stockpiles start running low At best you are cutting your own throats. The entire economy is based on mining as the input. PVP is on the other side of the economy - the sink. You really can't have one without the other and expect some sort of balance, which is what an economy is.

with 9 accounts guarding your 6 miners at a cost of ~3.6 bil/month what are the combat ships sitting in the belt even doing?

Actually, bots in the drone regions and random mining bots pretty much support the entire mineral economy; lets not pretend any differently. Sad but true.

Someone needs to go read a QEN.

When you factor in actual loss (insurance FTW) no, not really at all.

Your post is ********.

You know the following things:

a) Some people want to kill your ship
b) There is always a way they can achieve this

Your only logical next step is to stop mining. Everything else is stupid.

You use logic like Courtney Love uses makeup.

For example leaving out the part that the ganking cannot be sustained, and regardless of the insurance payouts, the amount of opportunity cost being wasted is astronomical. Or the fact that it benefits others greatly.

internet spaceships

are serious business sir.
