The New Inventory is pretty cool.

Well now, at first I pretty much hated it. One window for everything, NO! Then I remembered and got use to shift clicking and opening up a second window for that option. The fact you can open more then two windows like that makes it even better.

Then theres sitting in a pos surrounded by assemblies or labs, God at first it was awful. Then after renamed things to things became so much easier. My god was it better.

My only problem, bar time getting use to it. Is that it can be slow to load up, when you have alot of stuff inside you hangers. Bar that, yes CCP, alot better.

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.

I agree, it is cool, if one is a station hermit.

However, if you are in low/null/w space... it is not so cool in fact it is deadly.

I am posting this from w-space right now and the only thing that scares me here is looting with the new inventory system, in fact the mear thought of having to deal with the inventory system here just is PANTS.

Personally the one location I would have loved to see it and it was really needed was the assets window.
Sadly that didn't happen.

Although maybe they will work on that,

Anybody who lives in high risk parts of space like the new inventory system? I don't think many do, it is just the "safe" space people that like it, miners, missioners, station traders, courier runners, which is fine, but the rest of us got SCREWED with it.

What annoys me? the continual context switching on the same window and it disappearing and reappearing and changing modes. NOT what I want to see in space when I am frankly surrounded by HELL that can uncloak at any minute on top of me.

If any feature needs a "classic" mode, it is this.

This feature has actually benefited me with corporate asset management. The folder structure combined with containers makes viewing of corporate hangers easier for members and leadership.

While there are some aspects that I dislike such as the speed at which the view will change to the hanger you have your mouse over. Some times I am just thinking CCP I don't need the view to change after .2 seconds... overall the unified inventory seems to work well once you actually build folders for things. This leads to a problem however... I have not figured out how to put ships into folders since you can't put assembled ships into containers. Please fix this. The folder method is superior for dealing with incredible volumes of assets.

Could have used a lot more time being polished and use-tested, but overall it's going in the right direction. I look forward to the improvements and fixes they put out.

For reference this is for NPC nullsec corp management, not empire.

no, no it's not. It's cool if you like windows os bloatware.. and if you do nothing too taxing in eve.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

Corporation asset management, yes, a STATION ACTIVITY. Not something you do IN SPACE. Maybe you should re-read what I wrote. I said its great for station activities, safe sec activities but NOT for high risk space activities.

CCP are catering for the station / safe sec bears, and just give the finger to high risk space activities with the inv system.

Um no I think you'll find plenty of hi sec players that dislike it as well. Why bring a low sec / hi sec argument to this, when it is nearly universally ( I said nearly not totally) disliked.
