OP - Oh My God! RvB is having fun without doing everything my way!

Away with you, troll.

Nothing clever at this time.

The problem with OP is that he keeps insulting every single poster in his thread.

Kudos for the discovery that RvB is almost as holy and untouchable as Chribba or Rifters to the majority of Eve players- and that this could produce some funny drama.

If OP was a little more polite and at least tried to make this topic look serious, this could have had the potential for an epic trollthread

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

How dare those Reds and Blues have fun. How dare they. Evil

Everyone knows the only way to PvP is through meticulous research into ship fittings, fleet tactics, skill training plans, damage tables. There is no room for fun in PvP. It's serious business. These ridiculous noobs are an affront to those of us who drive our Audis to the weekly EVE PvP powerpoint presentations on Tornado fittings, and I'll be damned before I let a bunch of hedonist noobs spill my PvP macchiato.

Such activities are barely worth the time it took me to disable my bluetooth cell phone earpiece prior to writing this post.

RvB is so crap that a certain CEO of a null sec alliance tweeted that he was riftering all day long and was having a ball in RvB with an alt, I believe that a fair few of ex RvB members ended up in null kicking ass and taking names, mainly because they ran out of gum.

They don't boast about being elite PVPers either

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Because the point of RvB is purported to be training noobs how to P V P but instead it sets them up to fail.

Funny I thought RvB was to have a endless war in high-sec so you didn't have to deal with 0.0 politics.

And EVE UNI was set up to train players.

If the RvB people are having fun in there corner of the sand box, then all is good.

To all you scrubs who are trying to tell me that RvB isn't meant for elite PVP; YOU ARE WRONG. RvB should be the haven for people like GARMON or IMPERIAN. A system where ELITE PVP'rs can fight each other all day every day and make us videos. Every night I sit in my attic, turn off the lights, turn on the TV and pop in some garmonation dvd's. I need MORE, and RvB needs to change to accommodate ME.

Badpost alert, defcon 5

Oh look; an RvB scrub. Say hi to my Legion later when I come and pod you into yesteryear.

Nice Killboard you guys have there

Because this is obviously my main and all of those kills definitively involve me.

So let me get this straight, you're complaining because you don't have the balls to post with your main...

Or are you complaining because your punk card has been pulled?

RvB; loved universally by anyone who has played or plays EVE. I think that perhaps it's time to rethink our opinions on these training corps. For anyone who might be living under a chunk of Veldspar in Chribba's sex pen; Red Federation and Blue Republic are two alliance who are perpetually at war. Members of the two alliance engage in elite PVP in the systems surrounding their bases. Thing is; most of these members are in frigates, battlecruisers, and cruisers and there is never any doctrine enforced. The noobs fly around in a big motley blob of shitfit omen's and such "learning" how to PVP. In reality, they are only being setup to fail. Maybe if they actually knew how to fit ships, or that 1v1s are not a normal occurence in EVE, or that bringing a Drake to a fleet with Guardians is NOT ok RvB would serve its purpose.

Even EVE-Uni are better than RvB for learning how to PVP; except they do it the boring route, lectures and rants by old british guys who probably wear tophats. People even metagame in RvB, seriously? You need spys to catch a bunch of noobs in t1 cruisers flying around aimlessly? RvB is a group of noobs, in badly fit ships, flying around with bad FC's. When those noobs go to join a real PVP corp they will be rejected, because no, we don't want your PVP fit Augoror (teh ****?). Really the only good thing RvB is good for is for giving me cheap targets who can be guaranteed upon to fly badly, fit badly, and die in a blazing fire.

Heh, you war dec RvB and then complain they can't pvp right?

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Pretty sure R-V-B is there to provide active, constant pvp without fear of some of the more griefy aspects, not to train.

i joined rvb to have fun...you know, the reason most sane people play video games. and speaking of that, i'm having a blast! rvb is a laid back group of pilots out for one thing - entertainment.

looks like little starvag here is in dire need of some psychotherapy. you're a scrub in RL and rely on a video game to bolster your self esteem. how pathetic. while you're on the couch with your therapist crying over how mommy didn't breast-feed you, i'll be zipping around in my frigate. i wish you the worst of luck.

Let me just point out, a MASSIVE part of this 0.0 pvp thing people always speak so highely of is, "shut up, put up and follow fc's orders"

If nothing else, RvB offers the training of listening to an fc and moving around as part of a group. Which even in the most hardcore pvp alliances, there is always 1 "lemming" or "that guy" who cannot follow the simplest of orders.

As far as i can tell what RvB offers is a FUN easily accesable pvp oportunity for anyone, and now your bashing on them.

What have you done for the vast eve community?

Do what everybody else who thinks they are elite in RvB does.

Bring your neutral booster alt and lie/deny constantly that it exists.
