Nope, different character. My other two characters on this account have both unaccountably become unable to post over the course of this weekend...

It's been a good weekend for bad posting.

Yes, and no. Its a mentality of someone who might want to return to the game if its ever fixed and doesnt want to start at 0sp

Do you also wear a helmet and a gas mask when you go out for a walk ... just in case. I can see why you are quitting though, you are too worried about stuff to be able to have fun. I mean, you rather sit in station and troll the forums than having fun in the game because you risk few hours of training time on a character that you are unsubbing. I don't think EVE is for you tbh.

So i thought I'd take my pilgrim character out for a spin as it has 20days left on its subscription before it expires and boy ti wont be reniewed.

Logged it on, laughed at the numbers of people online, then thought to myself, do i want to give CCP the numbers on their server, or even the impression that this guy is happy. The answer was no.

I then thought about what i would be doing, a few wormhole ganks, i realised i was in my +5 clone with other +6% dmg implants all maxed out for speedy skill training. Now i certainly didnt want to loose this clone as its a few bils worth, and i certainly didnt want to jump clone into a unimplanted clone and vanish into the wormholes for a while, thus reducing the characters skill training on that all valuable 20days left. So i reached the conclusing taking all this into account, to come onto the forums and make another moan/whine/imbored thread, as even with the fullest intention to actualy have FUN on this GAME it was quickly squashed by game mechanics TwistedTwistedTwisted

Right right, risk-free PVP.

So your are complaining about losing 3.6 hours of valuable training time without risking 3 bil in implants.

In case you do not believe these numbers, consider each primary attribute saves your 2% and each secondary 1% of your total training time. That's at BEST 15% total if you use a blank clone, which roughly equates to 3.6 hours in the 24 hours delay to jump back into your +5's.

Using +3's (only the 2 attributes your need) costs around 20 mil and you will lose 6%... which is 1.4 hours of training time.

Life is hard already as it is, here is my advice:
Don't fly T3 and set 2-3 alarms so you never forget to update your training queue. Your carebear training should now be complete.

Risk free PVP...... Isnt that the reason 1v1 is now dead in eveonline. People lie backstab and cheat thier way for a guarentee'd no loss no risk "rush" of pvp.

Face it that guy ganking mission runners = risk free
gate camps = risk free (run away when something comes)
joining a large fleet = risk free
can flipping and baiting = risk free

The whole game is about the people who apparently want GF's getting thier pvp "risk free"

I say risk free, maybe i should say "reduced risk" as there is always the actual risk of the node crashing and client becoming unresponcive.

I myself am guilty as well, I was planning on going into a wormhole and ganking relativly risk free PVE "carebears" so yeah

Meh, going into some red's sov with a stealth bomber alt and afking around before ganking someone's ratting ship is the way to go :)

a) Except when it's bait, or the MR isn't in a completely terrible corp and they DO something with their corp aggro on him
b) Except when ... except what? These are far from risk free. Ask PL about gatecamping in supercaps P
c) BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A LARGE FLEET TO EVER MEET A LARGER OR MORE ORGANISED ONE! Genius.
d) People complain about a lot of things, but complaining about this is just the worst. Can flipper can be shot by the entire corporation he flips, and can't even shoot until he is aggressed. If the other guys weren't terrible and drooling onto their keyboards this would be a bad idea everytime.

These things are only relatively low risk, in certain situations, because the opponents are terrible. Hardly their fault.

Soon you'll be here saying the Drake is always bait and there's no risk in setting a trap Roll

Perspective is a wonderful thing.

So you won't renew it's subscription, but you care that it trains AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE before you start never playing on it.

Interesting.

When you you're an NPC corp alt you can remove logic from your argument and just throw in random unrelated issues ... or seemingly unconnected trivia.

I'm half surprised this didn't turn into : "Can't afford to PVP because I need to do it in a Pilgrim (also implants, rarrrwgh!) and OTEC make the T2 hull/fitting expensive, QQ!"

or "Let us have a PVP flag when we are using implants!"

or ... IDK. They're endlessly creative yet forever in a rut.

tl;dr - I need to whine about something that I don't like, so instead of simply stating such, I must try to attach it to a bunch of other issues and claim my issue BREAKS EVE PEOPLE and fix it nao.
