Hi everyone!
I am wondering how much volume/cycle Hulk is capable of providing, given max skills related to mining yields, mining drones, top class fitting, etc. (but no bonuses from fleet, just solo)

I would be really greatful for some estimates or advice on how to figure out this value.

Harvester mining drones gather more than mining drone II (but they're also really expensive). There are also two implants that increase mining laser yield.

Change the drone mining rigs to T2, change the mining drone II to Harvester mining drones, and add the two implants (Michi's Excavation Augmenter and 'Highwall' Mining MX-1005 and you get a solo yield of 2193 per minute.

With full Rorqual boosts it gets up to 3880 (not to mention with these boosts plus a full LG Harvester set you have a range of 39 km on the modulated strip miner II).
Interesting EFT warrioring but generally not practical for obvious reasons.

For what it is worth, I find that a destroyed Hulk mines a lot less than the EFT numbers might lead one to believe.

The killboards are full of killmails for easy-to-pop Hulks with no buffer tank.

If you don't want to tank your Hulk, I recommend either a Covetor (roughly 1/10 the cost), or deep pockets for Hulk replacements.

Harvester drones? Really? Even hypothetically speaking those scrubs give you less yield because they are slow as hell.. unless you plan on being all up in that 'roids business.

That's why it's EFT warrioring.
I don't mine so it's not really my area. I only ever got to the point of being able to fly a Retriever before I decided to spend my training time on something else.

just in case you don't know, you can right click you strip miners and select show info to see the actual mining amount you're getting.

this guy has Mining V
exhumers IV
'Highwall' 3% implant
T2 strip miners and crystals
flies a hulk with 1x T2 mining laser upgrade
i have an orca pilot alt with mining foreman V at all times (+10% mining yield, no implant yet Sad)

she gets 1565 m3 per turret cycle
this figure isn't quite maxed but gives you a vague idea what to expect, and none of the skills are tremendous time sinks.

EDIT: with 2x T2 mining laser upgrades she gets 1706 m3 per turret cycle =)

Harvesters are way slower, travel time negates the extra yield on all but the closes asteroids.

Any serious miner knows this. Now go back to your eftwarrioring.
