You know, my mind just boggles at the waste of man-years of coding that happened here.

Imagine where the game would be if they had spent this time on something like, oh, I dunno, ring mining?

also, where has the R Click > open drone bay option gone?

I like new things sometimes but when you remove functionality it is pointless.

Make the new thing better than the old thing or do not include it.

The new system is good for people with a **** ton of cans and stuff in their hangars. It's useless for just moving stuff from your ship to the hangar (amongst other things).

Previously: Open cargo, drag stuff to Items button.
Now: Open cargo, resize it so you can see the tree properly, expand the tree, scroll/collapse until you find the Item Hangar entry, THEN drag to that.

Also, if you have your cargo open, you can't open the main inventory window by clicking on the NeoCom button; that just minimizes your cargo. :(

I have seen the movie and I too facepalm everytime i see inventory.

Inferno do _stuff _with _stuff _to imitate the _stuff _you could do faster with the old stuff

Maybe this was part of the inititive to make mining more lucrative by chasing away more miners... fewer miners would drive the prices up even more.. combine this with longer hulkageddons and nerfed orca hangers disallowing use buy your alliance buddies..and there you go... harder time for miners means fewer minerals on the market.

The unified inventory system blows.
All that was needed in the old system to sort items was to get off your wallet and buy some station containers.
Now it is a clickfest no matter what you do.
And if you had SCs to begin with, your really bent by the new system.

Um. Go to general settings and tick "Merge items and ships into station panel." Problem solved. You can drag **** onto your ships, double click them, or use the oldschool inventory alongside the new one. The new inventory system is amazing.
