So this year's alliance tournament is the competition for 3rd place?

So when Outbreak beat DS in the semifinals they were "cheating"?

When HYDRA beat PL in the group stages they were "cheating"?


It's kinda hard to know isn't it? All we can be sure of is that you competed dishonestly, the extent is unknown. Is not a very tenable to position to obviously throw a match then turn up here asking us to have faith in your honest conduct in rest of that competition (IX).

MAY I POINT OUT THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT NOTICED PANDEMIC LEGION AND DARKSIDE FORUM POSTS HAVE NOT SIGNALED THE FONDEST MEMORIES BETWEEN THEM AND HYDRA JUST SAYING

Match fixing usually falls under that category.

Anyways, that's worked out my post-work need to rant. Apologies if any of it went beyond fair. Still absolutely support ccp's efforts to have a pvp competition where people actually compete. Will check in tomorrow for more tears ;)

How quick we jump on the barricades to defend events like Jita Burn and Hulkageddon since those things fit in the sandbox created by CCP.
But all of a sudden the sandbox get's all kind of rules that don't apply in EVE and we are fine with that?
Metagaming is just as much part as bribery and ransoming. Yet those are not allowed in CCP's trojan horse of promotion.

We obviously cheated because we made it to the finals with both teams by winning against every other team in the alliance tournament.

If Outbreak hadn't fixed their match against Razor in the group stage, they would have had to fight Hydra in the semifinals and only one of their teams would have gotten to the final.

Even if Hydra/Outbreak really did deserve 1st place (which I would probably be willing to admit), you can't argue that they also deserved 2nd place.

The alliance tournament is not The same as the game itself. Tournaments must have rules and those rules must be abided, you should know that KG. also, hi :)

3rd place has always seemed as somewhat left out. Maybe the ECM eagles can be made into a regular 3rd place prize.

We didn't go exploring Jove space banning any of our characters midtourney though (pls to be not mentioning anything about exploration of newrules and banning of 2 allices tia)
