Looking for some advice on where to go from here. I have done some 0.0 PVP and Empire Care Bear'ness but need some direction on where to go from here to maybe specialize in something.

The problem with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and putting things in it.

You are all over the place. Choose a race and skill it from now on. Could be Minmatar or Gallente. Skill that from frigates to teir 2 battlecruiser and then do another race. untill you've done all 4. might want to max out support skills before then. Thing go alot faster when you're just skilling one race/ Most pilots can near max out a character training one race with around 30 - 35mill skill points. After that it's just getting every random skill to 5 instead of just the required ones to 5 and the rest to 4.

Are you having fun?

If the answer is yes, then it doesn't matter how messy your skill sheet looks.

If that were my character to train:

I would,
Train drones until you have around 4 million SP there. You probably feel like your drones are slow and weak. That's because they ARE slow and weak right now. This is an area that will help all races btw.

Gunnery Supports. Those skills make the guns better. Also multo-racial .

Missile Supports. Same as guns, not so multi-racial though.

Pick a ship you are especialy fond of, and make it perfect. Looks like you specialize in sub-BS hulls atm. So BC V comes to mind.
The weapons systems are all medium for this class and down. 1 perfect ship will cross over to a lot of perfect ships by default.

Someone mentioned "You are all over the place". True, but you are also 'Almost there' for a lot of things.

I think it's time you commit to some (a lot) level V skilling. I used to call myself "The King of Level IV's", and I think I see the same thing here in your skillsheet. Commit!! You will not be let down by the end result. Those rank V's don't look so fun, but when they are done it's very satisfying.

Hope I helped. Great start on a great toon. GL.

While I accept that my skills are all over the place they are that way due to needs at the time which is why I now want to skill in a particular direction.

Tau and Raven thank you for your input both replys were just what I was looking for, I will start getting my Drone skills up and then work on some more support skills. Time to start grinding support V skills and decide where to go from there.

Until I stop having fun in Eve I guess my skill sheet will be this messy, Jack of none forever I guess lol o7
