I've come to a startling realization

After pouring over pages and pages of threads threatening or vowing to unsub due to the recent changes, one startling fact has reared its ugly head in my direction, and I now believe it is safe to assume that I am the only player who has only one account. Confirm/Deny and also....Am I doing it wrong?

What are you doing? Sometimes a second account makes good sense,, sometimes it's not as helpful.

Besides, these things cost (money/time) to keep up, proliferating accounts is silly unless you need the multiple log-ins or several training queues.

You're not the only one, I dropped my second account because I now have a child. tbh, I'm probably not going to reactivate it because using only one account feels more challenging.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

I also have only one account, used to be more but with one thing and another one is enough for me these days.

Heh, I rat so badly without my three ship minifleet. Might just get it to two, but meh, feel pretty comfortable with this group.

Heh, I'm much closer to Red Alliance/AAA space at the moment. Big smile I bet I could go mine in red space rather safely from what I'm hearing. >.>

Maybe, we'll see if I stick with this, got 20 hours to an industrial ship. I got bored and decided to give an indy toon a try so I stopped training on itu and shifted to the new toon. I think this might work better for me because I can probably go afk alot more often. That being said, I'll probably stay in high sec for the explicit reason of being able to afk at will. Lol

I don't think I'd enjoy keeping up with 3 clients and ships. Had a buddy lose connection once on the tank, popped his dps battleships before he could log back in.

I once knew a guy in our old alliance that had 9 accounts, in most of the major alliances. I remember he even stole a few supecarriers out of NC.'s poses. So the guy was some sort of ninetuple agent. Most of the guys in our alliance had 2, 3 even 4 accounts.

Honestly I couldnt see spending that much to be successful in a game.

I couldn't see myself being that dedicated to playing a game. I'd rather go to the gym, find a girl, go to a bar, or go hiking.

Play a game with 9 accounts in a dark room? Not for me, really...

One account here. There's no rational explanation for paying for any more. Thing is...these multi-account folks aren't paying with money. They're paying with PLEX. CCP's bottom line is unchanged by the desertions. When they claim otherwise (the players) just nod and say, "Uh huh. Right."

FYI, I'm still convinced that this game would be MUCH better if they made it where you could only have one account.

Doubt that'll ever happen, though. People would have to work together, then.
