I'm actually used to kneejerk responses from goons who lump me in with the drooling masses. I actually sympathize and have learned not to take it personally.

At least the mistake was sorted out.

Except goons were then undisputed lords of the regions holding the most of the previously bottlenecked moons which CCP were attempting to nerf.

Of course, facts are no barrier to mentally unstable forum warriors.

The last 3 years have obviously been a Shadowgame by CCP and the Goons. Now we see the results.

Unless you PvP only, you cannot even begin to enjoy playing now, esp. thanks to The Window.

And soon, they will have all the Bottlenecked Moons or Not-Bottlenecked Moons they want, as it will be a galaxy empty but for Goons.

Then they will start canniibalizing amongst themselves, forming a large Ouroboros-like circle jerk fighting for the last remaining Sov areas.

And all will be laughing at them, and not caring at all as the obscene Ouroboros formed finally gives up the Ghost.

Then they will have won EVE, so I'm outta here (tick tick tick tick............)
Can I haz ur stuf?

The problem isn't technetium. It's excessive power projection caused by the negligible cost of jump and bridge mechanics. It's too easy and especially too cheap for OTEC to keep all their moons 100% safe with their entire combined power.

Just look at the massive and quick response when AAA threatened on of those moons. That wouldn't been as likely if such a display of power would have cost a fortune worth in isotopes. Don't forget, ice has to be mined and/or hauled so it's not simply just burning ISK.

Same with jumpfreighters allowing risk-free, low-cost and extremely fast logistics. Dronepoo could never have been dumped on the empire market without them.

Aren't you bored of spamming this in every thread yet?

Carthago delenda est Lol

And I supposed Goonswarm would prefer a fuel nerf then dronepoo-like Tech nerf.

its funny how the tech holders damage control is active. its not rly about me being in -a-, thats just coincedent. the fact is that the previous t2 comp change has been an hugh epic failure and there has to be looked at why, how and why this could have been gone overdue for so long...

actually there is a good solution to the bottleneck problem.

all ccp needs to do is to make all the resources necessary for t2 production available on every single moon, but in different concentrations.

it's a pretty tricky numbers game, but as result there is a kind of break even point for every Ressource, where mining on a worse moon becomes a viable option once the possible revenue is more than the associated costs from running a tower.

it's a bit tricky on the numbers side and im not sure if it's desirable from the game design perspective but it's certainly possible to solve the bottleneck problem

technetium is not "working as intended" and never has been

ccp tried to fix the previous bottleneck, but made a worse mess

that is also the reason a fix to tech is taking so long because they don't want to mess it up again

there should be high value moons that top alliances are prepared to tear each others guts out to own, but they should be part of a balanced and intentional system of sliding value, starting from R64s and on down.

Its not possible to do what you're saying, there will ALWAYS be a bottleneck, always.

NC not sure what happened to them... don't think they owned EVERY tech moon either (or dyspo).

Well at least we see where your confusion comes from.

The NC represented a coalition of over 60,000 players, and spanned from the borders of fountain to the drone regions.

They controlled ALL of the tech, not just some, all of it, save 3 or 4 moons that are spread in areas they didn't control. We took 70 moons from them in a 2 month span before losing it all back, then coming back a month later in front of the Russian thunderstorm I mentioned earlier.

And they lost everything they had. They were weakened, by less than 1300 actual players, their massive coalition that was built purposely to dominate the entire north was crippled with fear by a single alliance, its entire supercap arsenal rendered useless and then dismantled piece by piece.

You speak basically out of complete ignorance and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, so the best possible advice I could give to you would be to simply shut up and sit down until you've weathered one or two of the games great empires.

They rise and fall, those that have the means and motivation to make them come and go. Cyvok, Molle, Evil Thug, Mittani, Vuk, Shamis, these type of people will come and go over time, their interest in the game waning and waxing. There will always be a new dog and the old dog will always be put down in front of a large crowd.

Very well said. Success in Eve carries its own eventual demise inherently with it. The winning group will become a magnet for the greedy and useless, while the talented and hungry will get bored with being on top. Eventually the top dog becomes full of the former players and empty of the latter. Then some new hungry and talented players tear it down. It's a beautiful thing.

But so far all of the new big upstart alliances in nullsec have been befriended by Goons. The main people who oppose us are the e-honour types and I've kind of got to be honest here. E-honour is dead.
