Session Change timer

The session change timer doesn't work anymore. I've tried checking the box (esc -> General Settings -> Show Session-Change Timer), docking, rechecking, etc. to no avail.

Guess nobody else is having this problem. It still won't show up on my Windows 7 box, but on my linux box it works fine.
