Are ravens any good for lv4's even if you don't have many missile support skills?

No. Learn the support skills or lose your ship.

Raven is a missile boat (Hence why it gets bonuses to cruise and torps)

So, to fly a raven you need to be able to use missiles.

To use missiles you need to have the missile support skills.

So, to your question: Yes you need to support skills to fly a raven (unless you want to loose it or want to fly it really really bad) and no, ravens aren't good for Level 4's if you don't have the missile support skills for it.

Pretty silly question. It shoots missiles.

Ravens are VERY easy to use and work just fine on low SP, you do have to know the missions a bit, fit the right resists and shoot the right targets ofcourse but apart from that you can do just fine on mediocre skills. Do note that having low dps (due to skills) means you waste a lot of time killing BS targets as their tank gets close to your dps but it should work with a proper fit.

define many. tbh raven will probably still be the best low sp battleship. personally I'd go for t2 drones, and mostly level 3 or so in all the relevant missile support skills. should be able to mostly get by.

Still kinda think you'd be better off getting a battleship you have skills for :/
