Hokay, So I'm at 0.00 standings with amarr and i want to join fac warfare.

Do i have to do 16 missions to get something above 0.00 standings or can i just train connections to level 1?

^-4% increase to fac standings at 0.00 or higher

Please help :D

Inferno reduced the required standings to join FW to 0.0 -- so you should be fine now. Apply to your local militia office. Standings are much less an issue if you apply to a corp that's already in FW.

i cant apply to it when im at 0.00 , its strange

--You can not join the faction for the following reason: You are not regarded highly enough by the faction. Your standing with the faction is only 0.0000 but needs to be at least 0.00.--

Well that's fun. You get a small faction boost from completing a career agent arc. Try that.

F12, career agents, set destination. Do all the missions for one of them. Try again to apply.

Press f-12 while in Amarr space, then look up the Career Funnel. There should be a list.

EDIT: Damn you, Kuehnelt!

Ah yes, that happens sometimes.

The issue you experienced is a rounding problem. You actually had -0.0001 standings with whichever faction you wanted to join, but the client rounded and showed you 0.0 as part of that notification message when you tried to join. Yes, that's £¨%$*! Evil Proper way to check your standings if I remember properly is to go to your character sheet and have a look at your faction standings there.

Maybe standings should be displayed as Floor() or Trunc() instead of rounding it off... especially for things like corp standing where you need +1.00, +3.00, +5.00, +8.00 or need to know whether you are above -2.00 or -5.00.
