Is it me or has the server's average online been dropping for the last month.

http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility

Possibly because of the Inferno expansion?

EDIT 1:
The end of 2010 seemed to be the highest peak, what expansion was that?

EDIT 2:
Or maybe the drop in players is actually a drop in macro mining bots because of the new inventory, damn that's a lot of bots!!!

yes there has been

Eve is a game you are paying not to play - train skills. Pull old logoffski's, get camped etc etc

Now knowing this what do CCP do in one fowl swoop. Anoy its playerbase yet again giving them even less incentive to log in. If people stay logged out for long enough eventualy 1 of 2 things will happen, they will find another activity - be it game or soemthing else, or eventualy they will die. Either way they will loose 1 person + how ever many alts he/she has.

These are grim times, GRIMMMMM I TELL YE!

p.s

We all know real eve is just trololing on the forums anyway

What a joke, stop playing Winferno because clicks to play D3? -if Eve is clickfest party then D3 is THE click orgie.

I see 41,500 on Friday, May 5 on EVE Offline. I see maybe 36,000 yesterday This Friday ? Didn't even hit 30,000 before the crash around Peak Time http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility

But to be expected.

Your right. That has nothing to do with it at all.

The super peak we saw before I believe was just people coming in to check out the new avatars.

And yet again NickyYo proves why care in the community just doesn't work. Nicky, I'll say it again, as I've said it to you before.

Please stop making pointless threads with no content. Those funny little voices in that misshapen little head of yours are a symptom of an illness, it is not God talking to you telling you to post **** on the EVE forums. Go take your meds, realise there is a world outside of EVE and that it can and does regularly influence things like the PCU, and then maybe take an indefinite leave of absence from this game. Clearly you do not have the mental capacity to make anything that even remotely resembles an interesting or detailed thread, so its time you gave up.

Your sincerely,

Anyone who has ever been subjected to a "NickyYo speaks from his rectum" thread/post.

I've watched the figures for some time now, I remember the first time there was 11,000 online and the figures rose pretty much constantly. I've cannot remember this sort of longterm downturn happening before at any point. So good weather, new release of rival game etc. would not explain it. Personally I think part of it is the war on botting and good ol' hulkageddon. In the case of HG it could be that people who might fire up multiple accounts to go mining are still online playing eve but just using, say, their mission runner or explorer.

I hope this explains most of it or CCP really have got a headache on their hands. I say this because it could be that sub numbers have started to fall as people like me who really should spend their RL funds on more pressing things than playing spaceships are unsubbing, I've just had to "mothball" 3 accounts Sad (no, you can't have my stuff, I gonna need it again sometime - hopefully).

There is a definate drop in online numbers and I'm sure CCP are aware of this and doing the usual stuff that any company would do if such things happen.

HMM or maybe the low activity is because all the bots cannot bot with the new inventory?

Are we talking the same low activity that happens every year this time?
