When I look at how social media is manipulated to shape public opinion, and see threads like this, with no real competition for this MMO, I wonder if some people come in here to practice for their real jobs working for the government or something. Do they go to their boss and say "look, I totally created a lie that looks like truth! Can I get a promotion?"

The game is not bleeding players. Right now college semesters are ending, school is almost out, better weather is coming in, and this is not a peak time for being inside gaming.

Unless there is another MMO like this one waiting in the wings, and it's success requires this game to fail first, then I have no reason to think that the trolls around here have anything other than malice or personal gain in mind. It seems like every "eve is going out" is worded the same, as if the trolls all went to the same school or come from the same direction.

Bring back DEEEEP Space!

same time every summer with out fail, the same old eve is dying threads, op if you don't like the game then unsub its as simple as that, others who are enjoying the game would rather not have to sift through your threads.

I have lost some 30 to 50% of activity in my corp in the last couple of weeks. GUESS WHY?!!

As a pretty old game, CCP is already fighting an uphill battle. It's not one they couldn't have won but they would have needed to revolutionized the game in some way. If that horrible expansion last summer (Incarna) had been full functioning WiS that could have done it. But we're not on that path now. The current path is Dust Roll and a "War Expansion" (I think this expansion was about war?) it's dry, it's boring, it's old, it's not fresh or fun or new or interesting at all. Those things actually describe EVE as a whole right now.

What this expansion meant to me in real game play terms: I now get more mails in my inbox saying an ally is in a war which I don't read. So to me it's like the Summer Spam Expansion

Is that really your brilliant plan to make money?

How can EVE hope to compete in 2012, honestly. I'm convinced that almost all EVE players who spend $ on this game, just don't know what else is out there. It's not just that CCP is too stupid and inept to actually do something huge which would save the game, is that it comes off as if they don't care.... Thanks for the new inventory??? BTW? Nice job at doing something I could care so little about that if you asked me "What would you change in this game" "The inventory" wouldn't possibly even come to mind.

Also this is a British thing. Us Yanks changed to singular preference for organizations a long time ago. You know, those changes that Brits like to cite to argue that we don't speak 'real' English.

But you should ignore actual facts. It's pretty hard to be an armchair grammarian when actual facts get involved.

Thing is that this new inventory killed all will to play when it's to more than just drag/drop a pair of cans at station.

POS/JB's managing in null is probably giving some enough will to leave completely, industry became a nightmare and so on.

Add the unfunny ganking theme that the game became+crappy wardecs, what does this game as to offer better then a simple free fps? -nothing, and you have to pay for this.

Until this inventory stuff is completely settled/revamp/improved/optional whatever, I guess people will prefer doing something else like sunshine and lollipops in front of a fresh beer.

Som of us don't drink, I don't think you need to laugh at their lifestyle. What's next? Salad rather than a steak jokes?

Looking at all the guns in a POS was funny. I hope our logistics people don't have too much trouble with fueling the POSes and doing the tech magic.
