A damsel-in-distress, and you silly people regarding a Lai Dai statement

This is very good follow up information to hear. Of course, the Honor Guard will do whatever it can to ensure the safety and security of Scherezad and her return.

I'm hesitant to devote corporate assets to this endeavor at the moment (primarily due to needing to discuss it with someone else first), but if there's something I can do personally to help, I'm more than willing to see what I can do.

As soon as less of my time is taken up by events in the warzone, I will be happy to help in any way I can.

Assistance is being rendered.

And Seriphyn, you're crazy even by my standards. And I stick foreign tech into my head.

I've just been made aware of this press release from Lai Dai, dated back in March. It explains a lot of looks I got in the Summit FTL not long after that statement was made to specific individuals (or at least, not to me). It's hilarious. Not because the release is a flat-out lie; what else would you expect from a Patriot megacorporation regarding an enemy combatant? I'd expect the same from a Federal branch. It's hilarious because so many of you seemed to believe it instantly, unquestioningly. Like a true Caldari citizen would, but none of those who brought this up are Lai Dai. .

Actually, I believe it because I am a close friend with one of the people involved, and a colleague to another. Both of whom you almost killed. Many of whose friends and colleagues you DID kill.

I am so closely involved, in fact, that Hakatain Dynasty Security Services have been providing security consultancy to the affected facility since, on a not-for-profit basis.

It is the greatest height of hypocrisy to falsely accuse others of dishonesty, Inhonores.

But then, we all know that you're slime anyway. being hypocritical, lying slime doesn't really change anything.

Verin, get in contact with us, we have information that is useful to the investigation, and considering that you are sane and we know that you have no intention of harming Scherezad, we consider you safe to work with.

It warms my tiny black heart to see this outpouring of support. Although I wouldn't go so far as to call her a "damsel," Pilot Scherezad seems to have a unique ability to inspire empathy in people. It tickles me in other ways to see it's not quite enough to fully erase the usual competetiveness, distrust, and dislike that seem to be endemic to us, but never mind that, for now..

I'm a capsuleer of modest means and questionable security status, currently operating in the ass end of Black Rise, but I'm quite willing to lend as much of a hand as I'm able. As long as I don't have to get inside scram range of that Gallentean.

To begin, I truthfully have no idea who or what this Schezerad is but I do have a sense to disbelieve the article in question if only for the fact that having a capsuleer - whatever their affiliations - crawling through air ducts in order to abduct someone just sounds like something from a particularly terrible b-grade spy games holo script.

Now I'm certainly no expert on espionage or infiltration techniques but I always imagined that in the first instance you'd attempt some cursory information gathering on the place. Try and do things discretely, conduct background checks and see if there are any strings you can pull on critical facility staff - see if you can blackmail them, bribe them or turn them over to your side with some charisma or just good old fashioned intimidation by kidnapping their loved ones and putting a gun to their heads. Attempt to find the layout and security protocols and whatever countermeasures you may need if the soft approach doesn't work and you've got to storm the place with a zero-g trained assault squad by placing shaped plasma charges at a structural weak point near the place where the quarry is.

I could believe it if something along those lines occured in this instance even if I have no experience in cloak and dagger antics. Now, if the article read something along the lines of:

"Renowned General With No Clothes Seriphyn Inhonores caught in Lai Dai station air ducts attempting to enter female bathrooms in order to molest Lai Dai Executive."

I could certainly believe that. Because chasing down some Caldari tail is no doubt something Monsieur Inhonores would consider risking an LDPS marine plastering his brains across a bulkhead and ignominiously ejecting his corpse out of an airlock.
