Skills which take a long time to train...

I'll be traveling to South East Asia for around 11 weeks and unable to access EVE. I was wondering if there are any skills which take around that time to train so I do not lose any training time? I leave in around 30 days so I understand that even if there was, I may not be able to actually get to the point where I can train it in that time.

Let me know!

Thanks.

umhh . . . maybe one of the capital skills (Carrier, Dreadnaught, ect.) to V? Feel free to do your own checking.

Any skill with a high multiplier going to rank V would be your best bet. If it happens to be a skill that is outside your current neural remap (A Per/Will skill if you are currently Int/Mem for example) even better.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

It's kind of difficult for us to answer your question since the longer a skill takes to train, the more prerequisites it probably has, and we don't know what skills you already have. So really EVEMon or EVEHQ would be your best bet.

Get your friends or parents to switch skills for you. Or get an usb with eve so you can switch skills yourself.
Also there are a lot of internet cafes in Asia, shouldn't be a problem unless you're in some jungles or something.

which part or southeast asia is this? i live in southeast asia and internet cafes and free wifi hotspots are all over the place here, you can even get one of those throwaway internet e-card for like 50 cents here, but yeah ofc if you're going to some jungle or something, it's probably irrelevant.

I doubt you'll be able to find a skill that takes the full 11 weeks, but it should be possible to find one that takes 5 or even 6 weeks. Maybe 7 or 8. Look for skillz with a high Rank stat, and of course you want to train from level 4 to 5, as that's what takes the longest time (approximately 5.6 times as long as training from level 3 to 4).

Your attributes also affect the cost. I'm specced for low Charisma, with my points evenly distributed among the 4 useful attributes, because I intensely dislike the remap-circus with all its inherent limitations and the need to plan loooong into the future, so if I had your problem, I'd go looking for a high-Rank skill that is based on Charisma, preferably one with Charisma as primary attribute, although Charisma as secondary would be better than nothing.

If you do the respec circus, then you'll have two of the useful stats as current dump sats, e.g. INT and MEM. If so, find a high-Rank skill based on those, and train it to 4 ASAP, so you're ready for when you must leave.

Of course a long training time from 4 to 5 also means a somewhat long training time from 3 to 4 (and from 0 to 3!), which may be a problem for you.

Skill cost may also be prohibitive, depending on how new you are. I suspect skillz to fly capital hulls are expensive, but that's one area I've never looked into.

If nothing else, train your racial Battleship from 4 to 5. Or racial Battleship for a race you might want to cross-train into (I fly Caldari, but I like drones, so I will eventually want to cross-train to Gallentean ships so I can fly Gallentean and Guristas hulls).

Or Advanced Weapon Upgrades 4->5. That's one you'll never regret. The problem is that neither of those are extremely high Rank.

capital ships to V takes about 35 days i belive, carrier to V is around the same time. if you can fly a titan just put on titan to V thats a pretty long skill.
