Carrier question: no of controlled fighters/drones nerfed?

I was under the impression carriers got a nerf (quite a while ago) so one carrier pilot isn't able to control more than 5 fighters/drones at the same time anymore. Rather they need to be delegated to two fleet mates (5 fighters each).

Now I hear it's still possible: a carrier pilot can control 10 fighters with carrier V ...and 15 fighters by fitting 5 DCUs. Is this still true?

I'm quite sure it's still true and has always been.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Nope. Carriers can still control up to 10 drones/fighters at a time plus one for each additional drone control unit.

The limitations are that you can only assign 5 fighters per fleetmate so long as they have the skill Drones to level 5, have no drones of their own deployed, and are in a 0.3 system or lower.

OP, the nerf you remember is the one CCP Zulupark (as he was at the time) proposed, it was abandoned after the vast and angry threadnaught which developed on the subject.
