Logistics and you. Confused pvper

As far as i was aware, weren't logistics supposed to be getting agressed when RRing as of this patch?

By that i mean being unable to dock/jump without stopping rring and deagroing like someone who has shot at a target.

So far this doesn't seem to be happening?



Not sure if i missed CCP going back on this intended change or not. anyone know?

I was expecting it too and cannot recall seeing it having been withdrawn.

Things did go very quiet on the subject though. :(

Can't see the reason why someone should be aggressed when not showing any act of aggression.

compare it to being politely asked by some1 in an alley to hand over your sneakers with his buddy silently eyeballing you, holding a pipe...

atm in Eve the guy with the pipe walks coz he is not showing aggression while it was said something would be done about it cause it's wrong.

That's a part of CrimeWatch, which hasn't gone live yet. They tend to do expansions in increments these days so that they can debug one feature at a time Blink

I expect we'll see it in a month or two.

That doesn't solve the problem of people hiding behind untouchable logis.

Better solution: Bring Tornadoes and alpha their logi if they don't get it off the field before you can lock it. If they do get it off the field, now you have tornadoes to shoot them before they can deaggress and dock/jump.

they are not untouchable....

You know, if you are having problems with them now, you are going to have problems with them after the change and you are still going to be complaining ...just sayin.

Ok, well, in WoW, that healer healing the damage dealer IS A VALID TARGET. If anything, EVE fails completely on this note. An active participant in a fight can't be attacked (without CONCORD retribution) because he is 'neutral'? While actively repairing an aggressing ship...

I'm sorry, but according to the way pretty much everything else works in EVE, this one just doesn't make sense.

Except that in eve, as soon as the logi starts repping your opponent, you CAN shoot them, without concord intervention. Neutral logis are only neutral when they aren't repping, and if they aren't repping they're a non issue.

Thanks for the info on that one Griznatch. Seems as though I bought into the false assumption that they are protected while repping.

The thing OP is bitching about is how logis can dock up or jump through a gate as soon as they start getting shot at. Truly neutral repping got fixed years ago.

well i have my own.. and i've done the same as everyone else for years Lol


I know it won't "change" the more organised pvp corps from just using more logis .etc


But if someone brings logis, i'd like to be able to kill them ? Is that so much to ask. If you want to use RR you have to atleast commit it for that 60 second agro timer.

Hopefully its as someone said ^up there, Yet to be introduced.
