minmatar ships have a slapped together rough a rumble feel. Cosmetics be damned! If it works…good.

The V3 of some mini ships look way way to clean. The hulls are all very streamlined and nothing looks tacked on. The only slightly minmatar feel to these ships is color and the wingy bits. This is space! Why would theminmatar care about how streamlined their ships are?

I want to see the hap hazard minmatar ships look like they are built over time. With plates welded on, pieces not fitting together perfectly… Cables running over the hull because why would we make em flush? It’s space! The tech 2 ships should look like add hock upgrades added to the ship…

Please please keep the duct tape fleet looking like it. If my typhoon becomes stream lined I will be very very upset.

I might even make wildly untrue claims of rage quitting…
So please keep in rust we trust….keep us on the raggedy edge.

Minmatar ships really start to resemble Caldari, only brown-colored and with an occasional sail.

Between the Hound and the Rookie ship rebuilds it is kind of depressing to see the direction the ships are going. They look more like something the World of Warcraft goblins would build.

why would people rather have a porsche than a volkswagon?
they're essentially the same car.

one would thank that competing npc manufacturers would capitalize on people's desire to drive/fly cool vehicles as part of their overall marketing strategy.

Just because the models previously looked like they were constructed with baling wire and speed tape, does not mean they actually are.

Conversely actual RL spacecraft of the past sometimes were notoriously flimsy (Astronauts on the Apollo flights had to be careful not to knock holes through the hull of the lunar lander with their feet)

at the same time a 425mm AC round (the little stool in your CQ is a 425mm round) would insta pop the LEM, meanwhile a cane can take a bunch of full vollys before popping, no not as flimsy as it looks, but substantially more flimsy than a drake.

Whats my point?
damned if I can remember now Roll

Well slapped together does not mean flimsey.

think the Apollo lander after a warhammer ork gets a hold of it.
Armor plates stuck to it and and engine strapped to the side for good measure. Some guns and a wingy bit.

A thucker fleet builds most of there ships from slavage and it should look like it!

There's something kind of wrong in dictating the aesthetics of something to it's creators when you can't even spell the name of it right...

Minmatar need to be re-imagined as a steampunk race. Victorian style steam engines, smoke chimneys, all kinds of gears and **** on the outsides of their hulls that don't do anything, plus T2 and T3 ships can have trimmings in brass or copper.

Trust in rust.

"Nay," responded Kurama Bingyi, "to crush your enemies, to see them fall at your feet - to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women. That is best."

I think the look and feel of the minmatar design should stick with the futuristic rat-look. Doing it differently simply doesn't make it minmatar at all. If done differently tho it should have a modified storyline to it that explains the out-of-place look. But going for a smooth calculated look on a minmatar boat seems to out of place and very hard between all the seemingly improvised creations they mainly use.

The biggest obstacle you'll encounter doing anything is yourself.

Minmatar ships should look like the Reavers from Serenity fly them.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
