I put >1000 biofules up on the market in the Forge region and at the lowest price but it dosnt sell for days and still hasnt why.

Have you been updating the order regularly, or did you just put it up and leave it alone?

If you haven't been updating it, then you were undercut.

Check market history (table form) and compare the lowest, highest and average prices. My guess will be that the average will be damn close to the lowest which means that sod all moves from sell orders.

...because nobody bought it?

Every order needs to be completed by another person, there are no NPCs automatically buying your stuff. If nobody wants what you're selling at the price you're selling it and in the location you're selling it at, nobody will buy your stuff.

PI stuff moves in fits and starts...it can take days for it to go, but then someone buys 5m of them at once.

It depends when people are coming in to restock their planets

Look at the quantity bars on the market data. Chances are you'll see a few days with big volume seperated by a few days of very low...or next to no volume.

The volume is more steady when the buy orders and sell orders are reasonably close (as some producers are just willing to sell to buy orders rather than wait). But if the price difference between the buy and sell is sharp, expect days of no volume followed by the occasional day of extreme volume as someone buys up a bunch of the sell orders.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.
