Inferno launcher problem

Ok since my last issue with the launcher have not been fixed or even commented on I decided to wait until todays release to bring up my problem.

previous issue: The launcher continously updated itself from patch 367569 to lastest patch.

I've tried running the repair tool, downloading the patches manually and installing them etc....... all to keep my preferences as I've 6 toons with different setting/overviews etc. which I do not want to have to reorganise.

Up until now I've launched EVE from the bin folder to avoid/get around the launcher issue. Ok so today I launch Eve via the launcher and then download todays patch, thinking all will be ok. . The launcher finishes updating and installing and when the PLAY button finally turns yellow I think I've got the launcher issue sorted.

Think again Scaugh think again.

The launcher says its ready and validates client only for it to go back to its previous position (ready to play). As if I've not pressed a thing.

Again I run the repair tool, clear client cache and manually download/install the latest patch only to be met with the same launcher issue. I' ve now nearly downloaded 20gb from CCP in the last few weeks and I'm still no closer to having the launcher work. Looks like I'll be launching EVE from the bin folder for the forseeable future.

Please post your suggestions below...... Devs are more than welcome to contribute

the link reads out SISI launcher. I'm looking for tranquility. does the one launcher now work on both?

CCP Mandrake are your launcher changes now on Tranquility? The link you posted was for the SiSi server.

Have you tried going into the launcher folder and clicking "Apply Patch"? It worked for me and my clients all launch normally now.
