With the Lego frigate/fighter builds going on, I decided to restart a two year old project of mine and continue building my Minmatar rookie ship, the Reaper. This is the old version of course... but the funny thing is the old version is still IG :D.

It is on LDD (Lego Digital Designer) and is also minifigure sized and will be including an interior along with many, many other details such as retractable landing gear and a boarding ramp and stuff. Right now it is a non-capsuleer vessel, but I do plan on adding the pod to it... which I also have already built.

But with all that said, it is a work in progress and is nowhere near finished, though it is already nearing 2000 pieces. I just wanted to add what I had here and bring smiles to faces (or frowns if that's your thing hehe).

Anyways, here is the site I had uploaded teaser pictures onto. I have more about it on there as well.

EVE Online Minmatar Reaper

Enjoy!

*Digs his thread out of the depths of darkness*

Well, I have not been updating a whole lot here... been mainly sticking to Flickr and MOCpages.com. But, for those of you who don't frequent those as much, here are a few links for you to see how I have been doing with my noobie ship.

Tonight's progress.

Very impressive.
As soon as I find a place to share files, I'll be putting my LLD files.
If you're willing, I'd love to see your LDD files too.

Tell me what drone you want (small minmatar) and I'll try to do it first.

Thank you again!

Heh, well when the time comes and I post mine, we could always try something to make both of our projects (your fighters/drones/capsule place and my ship) compatible. Would be neat to have sets where you could remove something and have it fit in another ship. So to make that would we would have to share files anyways :D. Plus I know you are looking for a more detailed capsule which mine will eventually have a place for. So you would be able to see my design (even though you might have already on my flickr).

What I did forget when I origionally built the ship was a workable dronebay for a small scout drone as that is the largest it can fit within the ship... will have to add one in before I finish that is a decent size for any one of the race small drones. You could always try those if you want to with foldable wings or something.

Yesterday I finished with the front. So far it is just about done... just needs some tweaking in the detail here and there. I am running on a slow internet connection atm, so the pictures are not up to date. So I don't have a picture of the kitchen I finished. But here is the most recent one on there that shows the Reaper in all its glory.

Right now, I am working on the second cockpit design that can house a capsule. Hopefully once that is done I will be on a better net connection and can maybe put the noobship on Cuusoo.

Even with the slow internet, I managed to plug away at making a page for it on Cuusoo. Too bad about the limit on the pictures you can show, but I have links to my MOCpage and my Flickr account there as well. This version you see there more of the common-folk sort of ship, as it has a normal cockpit and not the pod pilot fitted one. I am designing that right now, but I feal that the non-capsule version is just as good. Maybe I might make the cockpit removable so you could easily swap between the two designs and choose what you want best.

Anyways, here is the link. Enjoy, tell your friends, tell you friends to tell their friends, make the Lego / EVE community closer lol.
