Items Disappearing?

Ok this is weird. I just logged in for the first time since Inferno and traveled back to my main station. When I got there my entire inventory, save for one Navitas blueprint, was gone, I mean completely gone. Not in my assets or at any other station. This is really pissing me off since I lost a few cruisers and a ton of skill books I just bought. Any help? has this happened to anyone else?

Is it possible you have disabled the items types displayed except for blueprints (or inversely, set it only to display blueprints)?

I believe there is an ongoing bug regarding items disappearing. Petition it.

No, I have checked all of the filters and the "assets" tab.

I have the same problem.
I already petition it. Hope they will fix it soon.

I had all my items after the big patch.
Today when i logged in i only had few items that arrived by a courier contract, all my other stuff was gone :)


No filters can help....
I even looked in the member hangars whit my other character and i could not see the items also...
My other character doesn't seems to have that problem .

What is strange is that when i look fro specific item in the Personal Assets with the Search option.
I can find that item in the station where i am missing stuff, but when i list the station from the same UI Personal Assets, this item is not there...
So i have one UI that tells me i have em and then I dont have em :) and one the NEW one, that refuse to show anything useful...


I dont like the new UI, I dont think its more user friendly !
Defiantly a fail for the QA team :)

I thought I had this problem with a bunch of shield hardeners I was transporting between stations. Dropped them into my cargohold, set off and they just were'nt there at the destination. Tried searching assets but nothing turned up Sad.

Went back to the first station and it turned out I dropped them into the cargo of a rookie ship by mistake Oops.

Exactly the same issue as Rimzie described... I already petitioned it, hopefully it can be solved soon.

It is really strange, in the folder "personal assets" 460 items are available, but only ~30 are visible. No active filters.

Hard to play eve without any assets in my home-station... :oP

"Hi.

We're sorry to hear of the troubles you're having with your inventory.

This is a known display issue that cropped up with the Inferno expansion. It doesn't affect everyone, but we have our programmers on the case and they are looking into possible solutions. We will of course be addressing this issue as soon as possible.

For now, the workaround we've seen from other players is two-fold. We unfortunately cannot guarantee it will work and would therefore appreciate it if you could reply back here if this doesn't work for you:
- For ships: You should still be able to see them through your assets window. Board them from there and they should show up normally after that.
- For items: Use the assets window again, but this time select the items and create a contract. Assign the contract to your character and after it's set up, delete it. This should return the items back into your hangar and make them visible once more. You have to be careful here to make the contract 'private' and make sure you assign it to your own character.

Our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing and we thank you for your patience.

Confirmed after the expansion I lost two skill books that were in a secure container in a catalyst I filed a petition and 1 day later they were back my hanger.
