I have a Harbinger now, while I love Amarr ships, I've always hated the Harby. But I'll use it for now until I get a sexy battleship. BTW, just coming back being gone for about 3 months.

Phantasm will do the job. Nomen will do it better. Absolution will be utter overkill.

Hmm, just checked those two chips, I don't have 150mil since I'm just starting lvl3's.

the only other option that comes to mind is arty cane. if you have projectile skills that is.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Thank you for the replies, but it's looking like the smartest thing would be to stick with the Harby and just start saving for a Battleship. I know some would say I don't need one, and to just get a specialized BC. However, I think the Amarr BS's are just gorgeous and I've always wanted one. Any recommendations on which one of those I should get first? I've got all the skills trained for t2 minus the guns. Only t1 there.

apoc into abaddon iirc. abaddon only shines with REALLY good skills. not sure about the navy apoc, no experience there.

edit: navy apoc has more armor and slightly better resists.

I should buy an Ishtar.

The Retribution will handle lvl3 missions just fine.

I found that most commonly used L3 Amarr ships lack range as some L3 missions are pretty long range. I used a Zealot but thats quite skill intensive, you can also trick out an Oracle with super tracking to blow through L3s

Can you use T2 pulses? if you can the harby will do fine. Armor tank it, for lvl3's a single rep will be OK. Don't fit plates. fit 1 armor rep and 1 heat sink to lows and the rest tank, as you get better at it you could remove some of the armor hardeners. Fit an ab and a web to the mids. Cap recharges could fill the rest of the mids. If you can afford rigs put nano bot accelerators. An use T2 light drones. For the mids you could go cap booster and a tracking computer or another web.


EDIT: The reason I say T2 is so you can use scorch.
