Did CCP just give a whole bunch of lp to the minmatar??

I had thought that the space would be upgraded by players donating lp to a system. At least that is what the dev blog said.

Yet when I signed on I see that all the space seems to be at level 5! (Not sure if the buffer was filled.)

Did the minmatar players donate all this lp according to the rules?

Did I miss a dev blog that changed the rules?

Are systems going to be fully upgraded when taken now?

Can we get a clear explanation of the mechanics?

We put our LP into the systems.

I did one system to V and another to IV last night. The system I put upto level IV was at zero when I got to it.

Wow ok props to you guys then! I wasn't online right at the start and thought it was odd that every system was at 4 or 5 by even us time zone and appearantly jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I think its disgusting to be honest, too many people in minmatar militia just wanting something for nothing

We should have got to 80% on patch day, but only a handful of pilots did anything

This isn't aimed at people who upgraded systems (I know there were others), but it seems like Iron Oxide did the majoritory of the systems while the rest of the militia sat back and watched. I know of many pilots who did 2, 3 or more systems to level 5 on their own. I did 2 myself.

In hindsight, would have been a lot better at Tier 5 though, you'd feel gutted if you cashed out on 50 stabbers one day and realise the next you could have had 100

What was, is and will remain disgusting is that CCP introduced the draconian "consequences", uber-incentives and blob friendly mechanics without first making sure that all sides would have a roughly equal opportunity to avail of them ...

But the actual balancing of FW is slated as Soon™ as it has been for going on four years.

Looking forward to half of null being screwed in the arse by CCP with whatever changes they make to sovereignty .. oh wait, they get loooong grace periods and Goddess knows what other hand-outs whenever something, however minuscule changes.

If CCP ever starts taking FW seriously, then maybe I might as well, until then have fun in blobby FarmVille™.

I'm surprised anyone is upgrading their systems. I like it, I spent all of last night in Okkamon fighting over plexes (since the caldari upgraded their systems they actually fought over them). I can't see it lasting since your LP just gets drained away, but then again I couldn't believe anyone would ever bother to upgrade in the first place (except possibly for a quick mass "lets all upgrade then cash in LP) stint.

I hope it continues if that's what it takes to get people really fighting over plexes.

Everyone had 2 months notice to prepare.


The consensus was that is what would happen chat, with only 59 systems it seemed very unlikely that they wouldn't hit Lvl 5 on patch day, just from the major alliances. After that it'd just be a matter of pushing it up to Tier 5 every other month or so.


Hopefully once it slips back to Tier 2 or something people will wake up and do something about it

I think he is refering to the npc imbalances and possibly the bugs that prevented plexes from spawning.

well you didnt gave us enough time. When i finnaly logged after my work day I find everythign upgraded.. I cannot log in whie at work to do that...

A year or so ago minnies had some serious mission farmers. I could imagine the lp they had laying around.

There was many of us that donate LP straight after the patch. Personally its what I ground missions for prior to Inferno.

I'm just glad everyone else upgraded the systems so i can use my alt to buy myself cheaper sfi's aswell. It's a win/win for me no matter what side is 'winning' or 'losing'
