I just activated 4 accounts, and come back to this F'KD UP items thing! Remove it, if you want those 60$ from me every month!

Yeah, I can see how taking away someone's ability to feed their family is totally the appropriate restitution for your inconvenience in a video game.

Oh wait. No, that attitude is actually completely ********. MY BAD. Oops

I would have preferred to see something like this implemented in the assets window rather than an inventory. Its a lot more complex and sluggish and isnt exactly something I want to deal with when I'm flying in space trying to loot wrecks and cans, or throwing a load of ore in the POS or even checking up on ammo.

Sure it provides lots of functionality in terms of filtering and organising your items but for simple things like just moving an item from your cargo to your POS or looting wrecks its very counter-intuitive. When I'm flying in space and not just docked in a station I really cant be arsed about half the **** that the new inventory window does because I'm busy flying my ship and doing other **** that has nothing to do with how organised my inventory is. Which is why I think such a function would have been better suited as an assets window overhaul, hell I'd love the price estimates in my assets window. I'd even love having all the orginisation options in my assets window. You could even make so that you could manipulate/move around items in the assets window like you can in the inventory. But when it comes to simple things, the new system is slow and not as easy to use as the old one.

i think you may have something there, this new inventory system would have been great for the assets tab both corporation and personal and the old system for the in space/at station thing, i think that would work

What's Next? Commadore 64 Graphics?

i wouldnt go as far as demanding people be sacked, its not THAT bad lol, as for the graphics well, i'd actually +1 a lower polygon/graphics setting with no textures, sadly i use a second computer thats a bit old but it was working fine until the recent patch where the graphics have gone all funny on the fitting menu, besides, anything that could help reduce lag on my side would be great :)

While I agree there's always going to be bugs, someone needs to pay for the consistent failures of recent EVE patches. There is absolutely no quality control and they seem to release patches on arbitrary deadlines without ever being ready. There's clearly a manager forcing these things to come out on time but broken instead of pushing them back a few days until they're actually ready. That manager needs to be sacked.

YES it is. Ignoring all the feedback on the Sisi Forum about it after their call for professionalism for all CCP after the FanfestFiasco.

That ignoring is utterly unprofessional. CCP will seemingly NEVER get out of the "10 guys in an Attic" Phase.

It's over for me regardless.

The point is that a business should not make decisions that will alienate customers. It's a poor business choice and if enough customers leave because of that business choice then the business dies and EVERYONE is out of work.

Your wallet is the only vote they care about. Yes, voice your opinion, but if the changes they make are enough to remove or negate the entertainment value of the game, the only opinion they're really going to pay attention to is your refusal to continue rewarding them for their work.

I agree, the new **** is terrible, I dont mind you putting it in the game, but dont force me to use something thats worse and more tedious that what I had before, seriously, change it back, I have to clean my entire PC setup everytime I docked because I puke over how much this system sucks.

Well ccp I have waited a day for you to change your brainfart of an idea with this inventory change. I have been sitting in my pos bitching from various accounts. Tomorrow when I log in and I will drop my various towers if things have not been rolled back. I will start moving assets to 1 account. In 2 days time I will start to pull the plug on my accounts. My $115 a month obviously means nothing to you.

Every freaking day your going on and on about how you're unsubbing. ******* unsub already you annoying little child. I assure you noone here cares. Could we get a solid date your account is expiring so I never have to read your whinny annoying posts again? You are a cancer on Eve, please go away.

By the way the reason you see so many hate posts on the new inventory is that 97% of people like/love/don't mind it and are playing Eve. The other 3% are making cry baby posts with all their alts. If you spent lest time crying and more time playing Eve you would already be used to the new inventory and see how much simply it makes things.

Post here if you want the following back:

- Button to open corp hangar directly
- Button to open ships hangar directly
- Button to open your station item hangar directly

All the easy access buttons that are missing, the worse part is all the item windows reset when you dock again.

EDIT: Now having played a bit more, and me being a pirate. I like the new missile effects and the new killmails. Also the value shown of all items in a hangar is nice. But please also fix the above.

EDIT 2: Some other told you so before ... Yet they went ahead with the change..

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=104539&find=unread

CCP we also like to have multiple windows open that don't reset with a session change. People find it difficult to mine, run missions, browse pos inventory. And I havent touched yet the subject where you multibox, where u preset your screen for a specific task. And then the inventory resets itself each time, making it a pain to multibox.

I don't care if I get those back or not, but I want this;

1) I want to be able to separate windows (cargo especially) without having the annoying border on top + bottom. There's no need to have a blue bar showing me % of cargo taken, and even less to know amount of items and estimated value. It's alot more important to have that window take up less space.
2) I want windows to refresh immediately, when I'm moving stuff from can/hangar A to B, I want to be able to confirm where it actually is? I dragged that deadspace mod from the loot to my cargo, didn't I? How come I can't tell?
3) I want loot to open in a separate window, and remember it's location. Whether I am PvPing/on the move, or PvEing (and possibly having multiple loot windows open), I want quick access, easy overview, mobility. Opening a non-refreshing giant window that blocks a good portion if my screen just slows me down, and from a PvP point of view that can be the difference if I get loot or not. Quite vital.
4) There really should be a way to open cans directly from your cargo/corp hangars etc. If I have, say, a medium secure can in my battleship with cargo open, or say a giant secure in my carrier - then I should be able to open it by doubleclicking (or shift-clicking or anything), and it should open in a separate window (in a position it remembers).

After those three have been fixed, I will consider other changes, but that should be of highest prio right now.

AFK-cloaking in a system near you.

hey you know, if CCP make it possable to open up containers inside corp hangers at the pos this whole thread would go silent :P

yes, all the functionality of the old system with the pros of the new system would be the right spot but it pretty much looks like thats what they are doing :)

I hate the new inventory windows, or should I say the lack of quick buttons to open them individually. Why fix something that is not broken?

I don't even need the original buttons... but I can't work with having to reopening 5 or 6 containers, and the hanger, and all the orca holds every time I haul to the station.. especially when opening more than one container overwrites the previous can opened.

I have to sort a lot of ore for my ops that sometimes have a lot of people in them who need their mining yields kept separate.. this is now impossible under your new consolodated window. Try it.. you'll soon see what I mean.

it''s not a matter of preferring one system over the other.. it's a matter of a change that has made it nearly impossible for me to do what I had been doing... without spending much more time in station - many times more. this was not a needed change.. no one complained about not having consolidated windows..... and search tools.

it just took me 30 seconds to open an empty cargo hold...

But Rome was burnt in a day.

Like our old inventory did.
