This guy is a real life friend. I checked his account. He bought a bunch of Station Warehouses, and they are literally all gone. I took screenshots. He doesn't have any trade transactions, and his contract transactions only account for two warehouses. He bought surplus and I gave him a few extra. Coupled with the fact that he had modules in some of them, this represents a lot of his invested time.

This guy is a new player, so can we give him a little love and get all of this reverted back? All it needs is a few minutes of a GM's time. He's already opened a petition, but we know that can take 1-2 weeks.

Some minor things:

  • Smart Filter: Editing a smart filter (open Item filter dialog) with multiple entries (match set to 'Any' ) only applies the first filter entry to the current view. The filter entry is applied on opening the the item filter dialog while the filter indicitor (green thingie) is off and selected filters are unticked.

  • Smart Filter: Opening the item filter dialog for a filter with only one entry does not update the current container view. Only on the first change the filter is applied to the current view.

  • Smart Filter: Clicking the Save button on the Item filter dialog does not close the dialog. Leaving the dialog open while interacting with smart filters (ticking other filters with multiple entries on) in connection with the above behaviour leads to only the first entry for each filter ticked to be applied to the current view.

  • Smart Filter: Editing a filter with multiple match entries and other filters selected/ticked unticks other filters yet still applies the first match entry on the current container view on showing the Item filter dialog.

  • Smart Filter: Wrong values for Group-Is-x-all: Editing a filter with group-is-x-all returns ["Game Time", "Outpost Improvements", "Outpost Upgrades"] in the last drop box. Expected Entries for "Drone" e.g.:
  • ["Cap Drain Drone", "Combat Drone", ...]
    This is displayed correctly after reselecting "Drone" in the dropbox and it appears to be due to the fact the selected index of the drop box (Drone) is not used or 0 (Accessories).

  • Clicking on a grey filter indicator refreshes the view. This shouldnt be necessary.

  • Filter (textbox upper right corner): Returned results for the filter text depend on the speed it was entered, e.g.: "Trit" seems to miss the last content update when entered quick and can return "Alloyed Tritanium Bar" only or "Alloyed Tritanium Bar"-"Smashed Trigger Unit" and so (same result as with "Tri")

When I hit dock to a station and tab to another account the ship will sit in space and not dock. This is an old bug that has been overlooked. I got around that by setting the station as my destination and hitting autopilot. Now since inferno all it does is keep the audio messages "approaching station, requesting permission to dock" over and over and not docking.

Inventory system.. is frickin horrid.. was it intended to make salvagers do half of the sites in the same time?!

And why the hell does the window reload everytime i close one can.?! it takes frickin forever..

AAAND if i jettison 3000m3 of looted items.. why the hell does the client crash, or lock up, and the CPU on a i7-3.02 spikes to like 88% and the game dras about 10Gb ram instantly.. this is so.. baad.

I submitted a ticket as well through the in game system, but like some other posters I am missing items. In fact, my whole hangar of items and my hangar of ships were completely empty save my active ship and some ships that were courier'd over. It is a substantial asset loss for me as all my pvp modules and ships were there as well as some deadspace items and other such valubles that I stored there. It's pretty unnerving to know that I am missing a ton of items.

That happened to me today after the maintenance window. Tons of ships, warehouses fully stocked, the whole schabang.

Logged-off characters still appearing in channels, including both Local and Corporation channels.

As of the 1.01 patch, all of my items, and all but two of my ships are gone. Definitely not a hacking case. Others have reported similar issues. Tried clearing cache and relogging just in case, but quite obviously that didn't do anything since inventory data is stored server-side. Sounds like someone royally ****** up the item database.

Edit: Submitted a bug report, ID 136331 .

This problem appears to only affect the station in which the player logged off at pre-patch. Oddly enough, the Assets window still shows the correct number of items for that station, but when the station's item tree is expanded, only the remaining items shown in the Unified Inventory window appear. So it seems like a definitely server-side bug. Since this wasn't present yesterday, sounds like someone did something silly with the inventory code.

Hi Guys

Firstly thank you for the update and all the work that must have gone into it.

I must say that there are some good and bad things imo and I would like to as briefly as possible list them here

1) If the caldari strengths are in missiles, why is the merlin now a gunship with hybrid turrets slots only?

2) I have been having an issue where when i enter a mission spot after warping to the room, on occasion , my ship hangs in space with the please wait logo as i come out of warp...this locks up my system and i have to cold boot....doesnt happen often, but its quite disturbing as when i re log in my ship is warping in damaged after being attacked as a sitting duck.

3) After warping generally and going into a station and or gate i get a message "this item is no longer in reach"

4)when one s typing in chat and is not looking at the screen, if a request pops up , the request window closes as you type, this gives the requester the inpression you closed the offer and considers it rude.

5)Does the cargohold of my vessell have to open everytime i loot a wreck?

So CCP, you deployed that patch at downtime to fix the ghost locals. Only, it only fixed about half of them. Still needs some work. As I'm still seeing blue/reds/corp-alts in local that have been gone for hours.

this little update broke my frame rate. its back to where it was the month before inferno. like four frame a second. cleared cache no effect. you broke my client again. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT THIS TIME BEFORE I CAN DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN UPDATE MY SKILL QUE????

Suddenly, I can't open my own Orca's corps hangars, even though it's, well, my damn ship, and I have access to the corps' hangar anyway...

...why can't I operate my own ship fully? Why, oh, why?

It appears that if you have 2 Orcas in fleet, and one hasn't opened its corps hangars to fleet use yet, you get an error saying you can't access the hangars. Then, when you try to open your own, the new unified inventory system extends the lockout to your own Orca as well. This lockout on your own inventory system and Orca corps hangars remains in effect until said previous Orca leaves the system.

This also causes you to be unable to access wrecks, cans, and your own cargobay...because it's all on the same goddamn system!

That's just great! [/emote is being wildly sarcastic] Score +1 for the new inventory system! Why was this done to us?

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

When cloaked in dark systems you cannot see your ship so don't know your orientation till you move and can see the which way the stella dust (or what ever you want to call it) is going.

Thought this had been looked at but just realised I was flying around really light systems so get more refraction from the edges making it easier to see your ship.


Please make missiles viewable from a distance even if its just flare from the drive.

I'm running a mac mini with 4G of ram, OS = 10.6.8. Crashes to the desktop seem to be more frequent after this patch than before. The message from the OS is "unhandled division by zero". There have been a few crashes during combat with rats, so this patch makes the combat part of the game too questionable for now.

Also, on the quest lines, "mysterious sightings" (3 of 4) appears broken. Go to the mission site and there is nothing at all. Checking the web it appears that something broke it in 2009 but was fixed. So it looks like a bug reappeared. I've submitted a petition in-game for this one.

i am having a problem seeing my ships and items in station i can see them when parked outside and when docked elsewere but not in station the only station its affecting seems to be " aporulie fed mart moon 16 " i can see all my ships and gear but i can got play im now stuck in my drake , not a total loss but id be really pissed if i were in my bestower

BUG ::Maybe somebody already reported this, but:
Select all --> jettison = works fine.
Select all --> drag and drop to jet can = not working. It only grabs some (randomly) of all the selected items.

I see the two "fuel gauge" bars updating as I select all and xfer, but it is a very flaky operation.

i dont know if im posting correctly but here goes

1. the advanced option for selling items dose not work in corp hangers it locks up all you can do is enter the fee you want paid for the item the rest of the options do not respond when clicked but stay at defaults

sys info i play two accounts on one computer system windows 7 64 bit, graphics nvidia geforce 210, i use dual monitors
8 gb base avail 6.45 gb memory, i play in windowed mode

2. undocked from station fist account no problem on launch second account locked up with a black screen chat and other desktop menus displayed fine chat was usable

maybe has to do with dual play mode on single system had performance alert from norten on audio using alot of memory

the new item system had all windows closed when i undocked

and interesting issue that had me scrambling to redo the passwords on all my accounts happened when I first logged in after the patch.
when logging I noticed in all the chat channels and in station where alts from another account I own. naturally I assumed the worst and scrambled to ensure the safety of all my accounts and even went so far as to change every password to every site and service I have. (this took a considerable amount of time) to protect my game accounts and Identity.
At no time during this was I able to discover any tampering with any accounts. and I no longer noticed alts that I was not logged in on anywhere.
today I log in and similar situation. the one exception was that one of my alts appearing in chat channels belong to account that I had a different toon logged in. I took a screen shot but unable to post it here.
this is obviously a bug tied to the launcher and chat channels fetch protocols.
anyone else with multi accounts have similar issues?

Well, I see that a large number of players have already stated the fact that the new Unified Interface is very unappealing. But I still feel the need to add my complaint to the list.

While the new user interface does make the client look cooler, it has practically done nothing but hurt your players in game experience. Now the simple task of salvaging/looting a mission or 0.0 anomaly has become more 2-3 clicks to open and loot all of the drops, to having to change the inventory back from your ship's cargo every time you want to loot the next wreck. For small scale this would not be a problem, but salvaging a larger complex, mission, anomaly, this is just a major pain.

When operating inside a POS, do I really need to to open ALL POS starbase structures (guns, tower fuel bay, manufacturing lines... etc) when all I need to do is change ships or reload my ammo? And if I have to, why have them showing on the tab if I am out of range of them to actually look inside to see the contents?

Please CCP, do not turn into Facebook, updating things that do not need to be updated.

P.S. Fix the bug where offline characters still show up in local.

hi this is my first post I've never found anything CCP have done in the past has warranted me wasting my game time to write on this crap but this patch is utter bull the new inventory windows are 10 steps back in my opinion why would i want to trawl through multiple option trees to look in my ship hanger or what ever hanger i feel like this not only takes a lot more time than it did previously but the ridiculous amount of loading time just to look at ships in a POS hanger makes a quick ship change for pvp virtually impossible and heaven forbid u actually double click on a ship in the corp hanger because i ended up with a notification window telling me that my ship did not belong to me and i was denied access this window would not close or cancel and i needed to reboot.
this thread is in-undated with responses to your poor decision to "update" a perfectly good and working system into a slow and utterly pointless pile of crap. and after trawling through numerous posts i see no reference to the ghosting of characters in system and chat boxes. players in my corp that i know to have logged of are still showing in corp chat and local, there is no way of knowing how many people are in the low sec system with you or if u are about to get into a fight with 1 or 10 players!!!
overall another **** poor patch by ccp that we are all so unfortunately familiar with just a note if i was so f***king terrible at my job i would get fired the only reason people continue to give u there hard earned money is because this game was so awesome carry n the way u are going and you wont need to fire any one as u will have ruined your game to the point where no one no matter how good it was would be foolish enough to give u morons any more money.
