Barbara, if you took the time to read the other posts after the initial one from the OP, you would see that he has done his homework as best he could including the tested method of timing the dock and undock process of each target. I have hunted bots before and I have to say that I like to learn things everyday if it would in effectively tracking and gank Bot shops. After all, it's hard as hell to track them as you are never 100% sure the target is a Bot unless you gank them. I'm going to have to trust the OP

lol, this is eve... never trust anyone.

By the way, I not only read everything the op wrote multipile times..but I read the whole thread more than once.

I'm torn. Half of this stuff doesn't even suggest botting. On the other hand, how can these miners be dying in the same places so often? That to me suggests botting more than anything. I've been changing systems to places that lack ship deaths every now and then and haven't even seen a pirate yet. Of course, retriever not a good target so that might be part of it.

Also to whoever said "wait till the prices go up" we really don't give a flying ****. Prices can go so high I have to pvp in Noob ships if that's what it takes to get rid of all the botters. I will gladly shoot away with my civilian railgun if I must.

Agreed. Although people tend to forget that once ice prices go up, a lot of people will start ice mining as hell. Half of the belts is empty (of ships) anyway.

Oh well, but I guess CCP will keep saying " we have a now bot detecting/banning methods" and the control of the market by bots will go on.

Below I will attach a list of bot names and their generation. You will find them in caldari space, in every single ice system. This list is incomplete and we're adding names to it constantly.

Any further news here?

Just another ganker trying to justify their ganking thru the ol' "they're a bot!" excuse.

Either accept you're a ganker doing it for your own enjoyment, or STFU. If you have to try justifying your ganking on the forums you obviously are looking for community acceptance and feel bad about doing it in the first place.

Nut up or shut up.

No further news. Been doing Diablo 3 since it launched. Haven't done any hulkageddon. I did see some of the bots online again though, but I haven't followed up with them yet. As for the haters in here, umad? Of course there's enjoyment in killing bots. And once we ran out of bots to kill, we came for normal players. If you're mad, please feel free to cry here, others will comfort you.

Great work is done by few, yet are so hated by those that cannot see the importance of this cause. Allowing bots to run free is something that none should do, that and they're helping out the economy by destroying stuff.

It is important, botting is basically a form of cheating and is ruining the game over time, unfortunately its not stoppable until it's handled in a different way .

No matter what you do to try and sniff them out the botting programs will just get more sophisticated and harder to spot .

There needs to be a system like valves anti-cheating software that searches and auto bans accounts.
