[FREE WARDEC] Pandemic Legion now accepting any and all allies

HELLO NEW WAR DEC MECHANICS, IT'S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU.


If you're a merc corp looking for a super cheap (see: free) war-dec against a large alliance, look no further.

In their attempts to break up the Technetium Cartel, -A- has declared war on Pandemic Legion. This allows them to shoot our towers in low-sec without losing sec status, because apparently that's important to them.

As a limited time offer, apply with your corporation or alliance to be an ally of Pandemic Legion in the "Pandemic Legion vs. AGAINST ALL AUTHORITIES" war, with an offer of zero ISK to provide assistance. You will be accepted at the nearest convenience of one of our directors, and are free to shoot -A- as much as you'd like.

As long as the war stays non-mutual (which we intend to keep that way), we will accept any allies looking for a massive bloc of targets to shoot at. There is no capacity on the number of allies we can accept.

If you're a new mercenary corporation looking to make a name for yourself, or an old one looking for good times, apply to be our allies today!

Edit: En Garde also has a non-mutual war against us, if you want to apply as an ally in that war as well. If you wish to participate in both wars, you must apply as an ally separately for each.

I don't see this as squirming. PL would be buying mercs if they were truly squirming. This is simply starting a new trend. I could see a large number of big alliances allowing free allies. It gives the larger alliance free help and let's lesser know mercs start to build up killboards.

Paying them with "I'm fighting for the cartel and am part of the machine! I gain nothing and in fact, will be hurting my own HS operations by assisting this cartel."

I'm not sure how that is a payment but.... sure why not.

In fact I think people would be paying PL to defend PL.

I'm all for the option to bring mercenaries into the war. I'm against it being completely free, and I'm definitely against it favoring ONLY the defender. Two possibilities for making it more balanced:

1) Add an alliance fee for bringing in mercs. Maybe start it at 50 mil for the first ally, and then increase it for every additional. This would prevent a wardec turning stupid when the defender does what PL just did and invites EVERYONE to jump into the war for free.

2) Allow the aggressor to bring in one ally for every two the defender hires. This creates an escalation of warfare rather than allowing the defender to simply overwhelm the aggressor.

Don't cry sandbox when the aggressor is just as artificially limited as the defender used to be.

Posting in a PL can't defend their tech thread.

PL is affraid of -A-. Why you ask? Because they don't have the numbers to defend their tech and they can't use Titans in low sec.

You can use Titans in lowsec, you just can't DD which is silly anyway.

This is PL attempting to break a flawed new game mechanic, I'm surprised the usual wardec griefers in Jita are snapping this offer up as it saves them 500mil on a wardec.

Which part of OPEC you don't get? When PL towers get ****** with GSF and NC. will come to help. PL is offering highsec gankers free wardec on -A- so you can gank them at JITA 4-4 business as usual.
