Launcher fails with "An unexpected error occurred"

When I try to run EVE the launcher is attempting to update itself and is failing with "An unexpected error occurred"

I'd post the full details of the error message here but "The input cannot contain HTML" Roll

Tried running the repair tool, which seemed to work successfully, but the problem persists.

Tried submitting a bug report but that failed (twice) with a "Something bad happened" error Shocked

Using Window 7 64-bit.

run repair tool and let it update eve if required and then launch exefile.exe located in eve\bin\ folder it seems the launcher chrashes un some files it can't dl or find but eve will launch fine after repair tool has updated your client.

Seems they have fixed the error now - it's working for the time being at least...
