Iv been searching around for a Hyperion fit with mixed results :/
My blasters skills are good (and getting better) and i have great armor skills :)

Has anyone got a decent PvP fit for it though because i would really like to try the hyperion because of its awesome bonsues.
Im willing to invest in faction reps if need be too :) however T2 would be easier and cheaper.

Lots of good PvP footage out there with no little/no hint at their fits ¬.¬
Anyone can lend me a hand here?

You can replace one Ion Blaster Cannon II for an Electron Blaster Cannon II and then upgrade the Web and Scram to T2 however, I prefer the added DPS and range of the Ions.

Looks pretty solid but no damage mods?
Is the tank too weak with damage mods attached or something?

Due to the low slot availability on active tanked ships such as the Hyperion it's very hard to come up with a good balance of tank and gank, most of the time people adapt fittings to previous PvP situations where they could've used module x instead of y. You're more than welcome to drop the Explosive Hardener for a MFS II however, I prefer sealing up that massive EXP hole. Then again, the Hyperion itself isn't a gank boat but more of a heavy tanker. If you're looking for a pure gank ship in the Gallente line you should try out the Megathron and Talos.

Thats a fair point, and no, id prefer ships that will actually survive in battle and cope under stress and still do a respectable amount of damage. My 'ultimate goal' is to eventually fly a dual rep vindy and so im getting used to fielding 2 large reps until i have the skills to actually fly and use one effectively :P

If you plan on using the Hyperion as a throw away ship to practice using reps I strongly suggest starting out with an active tanked Megathron or even a Brutix or Myrmidon (even if it does have a slightly different play style) as the cost of a fully fit Hyperion will make you cry.

Not really, cash is easy to acquire when you get the hang of it :P and anyway, im not going for 'solo' here, it will be in a fleet with a few other BS. But it needs to have a self supporting tank. As is the case for alot of small(ish) gangs these days.

Blaster fit Domi is very cheap and dose well with dual reps something to consider for a practice Battle ship.

Forget the Hype's bonsuses and just use two of the X-L ancillary shield boosters, if they'll fit. Then, mag stab till your heart's content.
