I think CCP had choose the correct name to the new expansion "INFERNO".

Inferno -> Is the correct name for the Inventory System and what I´m feeling right now.

Things that we make in 10sec on the past now take +30sec.

Still can´t understand how anyone had develop this, like it is. Don´t believe that will be anyone that like this.

Please return back the old hangars, like you have make with the Ship Hangar.

+1 for removing this.

- Does not support multi windows (shift-click is not multi windows ok?)
- Does not save position/configurations
- Stacks
- Uses too much space on screen, resize? c'mon .. it's HUGE
- Why the hell do i need to know the price of every single item in every single window in every single everything? Why cant i hide/remove the status bar?
- Does not color differently locked BPOs, instead, even allows you to drag them

yada yada yada windows explorer like.

But in Windows, you can configure it, hide/remove even the status bar, and ontop of it hall, it memorizes how you want it to be.

I even bug reported this stuff when inventory came to sisi, but surprise surprise: waste of my time

Get rid of this monstrosity! Who ever thought this would be good needs to be fired! Ugh I have seen some bad things from you guys before with patches but this is the first time I felt the need to scream about it at the top of my lungs. Give me back my old hangers and leave it alone!! This is something that will make me seriously leave eve because of how bad this is. I have played almost 7 years and this is the first time I have considered leaving due to a patch.

I can see everyone else is jsut as upset the new inventory system sucks and the idiot that made it needs to return it back to the way it was. Takes way too long to mvoe stuff around now, and i need to click on a area and tell it to open in a new window so i can see what is where and where i want to move it is jsut outragous. CCP FAILS AGAIN

I only just logged in for the first time since the patch deployed and while I'm not terribly thrilled about the new inventory management system I'm not going to automatically object to it. I will, however, point out that somewhere along the way CCP broke two very useful features.

#1 In olden times, all of 24 hours ago, I could have my ship hangar open, make a ship active, and my ship would remain in the hangar. Now it disappears. Speaking for myself, and obviously only for myself, it is very annoying to have my list of ships constantly shifting every time I make a new ship active. Furthermore when I'm dealing with a ship hangar where I have 24 ships active and I'm cycling through them to make sure none are using mods other than weapons it makes it easy to lose track of where I was.

#2 In olden times, all of 24 hours ago, I could drag and drop items from my ship's fitting window to the ship hangar and the items would be automatically transferred to my item hangar. Now the items go... Nowhere. They remain on the ship. The game ignores my attempt to remove the item. This is especially a pain in the ass when you don't have multiple invetory "tabs" open, or don't realize that it can be done, and have to keep clicking here and there and everywhere. This pain is magnified if you are, as I was, cycling through multiple ships to remove non-high slot items.

I also found a spiffy bug or two. In cycling through multiple ships in my hangar the game stopped properly reporting slot data. Most of the slots were highlighted somewhat, it would be bolded were it text and not pictograms, and all the subsystem slot icons popped up in the corresponding slots. I believe that the active ship 3D picture also froze on one of the ships, but I didn't notice, or think I noticed, something regarding that until half a second before I closed the fitting window.

The second one wasn't so visible, but it was even more annoying in its own way. I opened up an inventory window prior to undocking my ship and doing some travelling. After I got bored of futzing with it I opened up the market to preview the changes to the various ships' visuals. However, if one of those preview panes was open when I jumped to a new system the inventory window would pop back up into focus. I'd clikc on the - to minimize it again, jump to another system with the preview window open, and the inventory window would pop right back up yet again.

I also found a very, very, very very very annoying new "feature." When I opened up my ship's cargo bay a new pane popped up. This is fine, but when I used that pane to open up a cargo can and tried to open my ship's hangar to move junk into it it just re-opened the cargo in the third pane. In effect it is impossible to move items from my ship to the cargo container without opening up extra windows/tabs or making use of the tree diagram and the extra space it requires. Edit #(what is this now, 3? 4?): Oh lovely, this happens even without the preview/ship view window open. I just undocked, closed my ship cargo window, jumped to a new system, and had to re-close it.

I sincerely hope CCP takes a page from the Captain's Quarters debacle and gives us the option to choose between the new and old methods of interacting with our inventories.

Edit: Spiffy, another bug. After undocking and doing a mission I got back to my primary NPC station only to find that the game had lost what I'd previously done to make the new system workable. Upon trying to open up the previously opened windows, which I hadn't even minimized much less closed before I undocked, I got my ship's cargo hold, not my station hangar or ship hangar. Wonderful work here. Roll

you think 30 seconds is bad try living in a deathstar POS where it has to load 4 maintenance arrays 3 hangers and the ammo bays of over 300 guns. JUST TO LOOK IN YOUR OWN SHIP CARGO WTF CCP?!

I actually like what the inventory is trying to achieve and am happy with the direction it is going; the interface does need some work though.

The biggest problem is when you open it you get EVERYTHING! At a POS you get POS Guns, Silos, Hanger, Maint Bays; this is too confusing.

Maybe a filter option could be added so you only see what you would like to see. I for one do not want to see all the POS Guns when I want to move something from a Silo to my ship. However; I would like to see them when looking at the ammo states for the Guns.

I agree this is awful. Did anyone check it out? I go pick up my PI gear in low sec not only does the ship cargo hold disappear when I enter or leave station and jump systems but when I go to pick my PI gear up to get it on board I have to delete the ship cargo hold that Ive just clicked on after entering system and click it on again to get the pi gear onboard this is from a rocket shuttle but Im betting it is the same from a customs office too. Turn it off before players tuen off.

at first i thought it was neat, and tried to work with it, but I cannot, this is bad and needs to be changed back to what it was

multiple account users have to multiple this aggravation, and today I didn't do anything in space, it was just to frustrating to bother

I have to agree, this new UI is bad for all that live within POS structures

We need Sub heads for Guns/Arrays/Corp Hanger Arrays/Ship Maintances arrays and recode it so we can rename structures, even if its just for the client side. 7ship arrays/5cargo/3labs/7arrays/40gun hangers are very difficult to navigate thro now

PS, Good job on thinking outside the box, i like the idea but i think we need some tweeking, Allow us to modify [Add/Remove] sections of the UI ie filter box/prices so we can reduce the amount of clutter, looting/mining with this UI opens full and un-necessary windows. Let us open sepeperate windows, as we like to see stuff move from one place to another.

Just found a way to kinda bring the inventory back to normal

theres a little [>>] symbol below the titlebar which removes the side bar then just use SHIFT+click on your hangers like you would have before, i find this removes 90% of the inventory and Lag it creates Lol
