Is everyone a moron? Yes the window system got changed.

But you can still create windows! windows everywhere! I have 8 GSCs in my main system, and I can open each one in a different window just as I used to. It is structured and has a search function, and has a monetary appraiser!

this is fantastic. all you have to do is go to the hierarchy and shift+left click once and it spawns a new window. Christ, get over yourselves.

This has nothing to do with whether everyone is as smart/silly to figure out how to use the new system. It has nothing to do with the bugs such as the session change issues which is likely easy to fix.

This has everything to do with how the system was thought out, every possible usage scenarios explored, the way it was implemented, how the test and QA were conducted and how the feedbacks were treated to resolve potential issues and improve the implementation before it went live.

It appears the entirety of the above were all poorly executed at every step from concept to the realization of the product. Worst of all, the reason that this gets so much disappointment is because this change does not simply affect specific demographic of the player population but the whole, everybody! And accessing inventory is one of the most used functions in Eve, no matter what profession path, one pretty much needs to access inventory every time they play. (one don't call log in simply queuing skills playing right?)

***
8 GSCs are nothing, the unified inventory works treat for small scale self management of assets, you try that for a corp and spending the extra time going through expanding/collapsing the tree

(station corp hangers, containers within hangers, ship corp hangers, individual ship hangers, ship ore holds, POS containers (offensive, corp hanger array, research labs, silos), member hangers (if you have hundreds of members in your corp)

and after you played with that, then come back and tell us it is super intuitive and you love it, (No, we are not looking for the answer that says: "why yes? I can figure out how to use it still, just took extra time, but I beat the new system usability IQ challenge!"), go tell everyone that it is efficient and intuitive, totally streamlined and Eve's never been a better place without it.

Also:
The search system was already implemented.
The monetary appraiser is doable regardless of the system old or new, it just wasn't implemented in the old one
The unified inventory could've been implemented differently and use the "Asset" Function as a test phase, instead they want to go big.

It only tells players that the CCP devs now days just sit in station and they never really do play the game in a way that can expose them to the full aspects of the activities this sandbox they created/inherited from their predecessors and are unwilling to open their mind up to a wider perspective.

CCP for the past few years since Dominion expansion, has changed from an innovative organization into an place filled with quite a portion of ignorant personnels.

Not everyone who're unhappy are unsubbing over this "window" thingy, however, the large portions of small consumer entities that has no real way of getting their voices heard at an up-to-themselves service provider who simply are ignorant and won't care, those consumers end up only having one choice that's easy to make and most effective in their opinion which is unsub, because that's the thing that they have control. (remember, not everyone is capable of holding onto the wealth of trillions of monthly passive income and use it to rally 10k pets
to burn Jita in a display of their dissent for being temporarily banned from game and removed from the CSM chair position)

Personally I'm not unsubbing (yet), but that's also because I braced myself long before the expansion went live, to expect nothing worthwhile from this Inferno expansion. But just let people vent, as long as it is valid arguments and discussions, there's no need to call people names. Nobody (including devs) is meant to force one to play one other's play style as long as it is within the bounds of the game rules, no?

And those who ask for freebies, why act like a begger and being so weak?

I was gonna respond but first I'm gonna test some stuff cause from what I can tell the way that the windows are remembering their positions is already a great improvement from SiSi.

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the dumbest people in EVE, and even I can use the new Unified Inventory with zero issues. So what is with all the pant wetting sissys, throwing their toys out of the pram and shitting their nappies?

The new system needs adjustments, which can only be decided upon by releasing the new basic structure on to the main server. I wonder how many EVE players actually use the test server, and out of those few, how many actually help to test new functions and updates, and how many just go to SISI to fly expensive ships on easy mode?

Bottom line seems to be that in order to properly evaluate the usefulness and functionality of the new UI, it needs to be refined in-situ, on the TQ server. So how about instead of people screaming like butthurt chimps, they actually attempt to give some form of constructive feedback? Oh right, because it takes effort doesn't it? More effort than flapping your arms around on the forums like a bunch of over privileged, snot nosed mommas boys.

If you want to show them you're really serious....

Destroy all your assets and wealth. Make a contract for an ISK amount 100x greater than what's in your wallet to wipe it all out in a single brokers fee (e.g. a 1 trillion ISK contract for 10 billion ISK in wealth, or scale it depending on how high you have broker relations trained). Get all your ships concorded.

Then terminate your characters. Fraps the termination and upload it to YouTube, post it here to show them you're not f-ing around.

That way, the game devs would know you're dead-serious about unsubbing and never returning.

I am not even sure why he unsubbed,

I can tell hes angry about "something". But there is no actual explanation for the cause of him unsubbing.

I applaud those that did, but perhaps the amount of feedback received was inadequate thus the deployment, in its current and not totally unusable state, to the Tranquillity server. What better way to gain mass feedback on something? Getting the opinions and ideas of maybe 100-200 people on the test server is all well and good, but it is in no way, shape or form a good indicator of the cross section of the EVE community.
