The new system is awsome and good in my eyes.
But to be perfect it need to remember the settings you prefer.

The best thing with the new system is that you can make filters and no more need of stupid containers to have a clean inventory.

It the system can remember (save) how everything is left when undocking, as you comming back to where you left it, its ok.
As its now, yeh i agree it takes some more time to do the simple stuff

This thing sucks..... Keeps opening up when I jump or dock. have to right click when I used to be able to drag, and keep dropping stuff in the wrong ship....GIVE US OUR OLD INVENTORY BACK

This is NOT an improvement to the end user playing experience (henceforth reffered to as the EUPE), on the contrary it is a giant step backwards. In the interest of providing the best EUPE, please roll back the changes to the docked UI.

Congrats CCP.

By trying to accomodate everyone with a bee in his or her bonnet, you have created a monster that the rest of the players want to kill with fire.

Roll this insanity back. Or put in a button allowing us to kill it.

Then poll game clients later to determine what the majority of players prefer.

I like the new interface generally, but some people I know are throwing a fit. There are some specific things that would alieviate most of their pain if fixed.



  1. POS batteries of all kinds should be in their own collapsible category by default. Most of the time when you're using inventory at a POS, you're not screwing around with the gun batteries, so collapsing them or even filtering them from the index by default makes sense. This is really annoying when trying to work with inventories at a deathstar.

  2. rclick menu for POS structures should have a Select option so you can figure out which Battery or CHA or SMA you're dealing with, without having to figure it out based on the contents.

  3. CHAs / SMAs / Other pos containers where more than one can be anchored should be renameable.

  4. as in the OP the current click and shift-click functions of the cargo button should be mirrored and the simple cargo window should remember its size and position.

  5. clicking a CHA tab in the inventory window should display the animated circle to indicate that the contents are still loading.

  6. The status bar with item count and est. price should be toggleable to save screen space when having the simple cargo window open while in space.

Inventory(cargo) should default to the specific ship or other item you are looking at first, then give you the option to expand what you are viewing.

As it is now, if you are in space at a POS and you want to see what's in your ship cargo, you may have to wait up to 10-15 seconds for the cargo window to open.

Ok this thing is a serious pain in the butt. Try working compression in a rorqual or dealing with Corp hangers in a ship. Transfers in space from cans are a also a total nightmare. Either give us the OLD inventory back orgive us the OPTION of using the old one.

Even the simple task of adding drones to existing ships has suddenly become a chore, requiring multiple clicks, when all you had to do was right click your ship before.

We don't hate new features, but this one is laggy, requires more clicks and is generally more inconvenient than the old system. I do like the filters by ammo, modules, etc., but that's pretty much it.

every thing i used to do in seconds takes 10-40 seconds to get through and the lag is brutal
