Getting distracted by pretty graphics is pretty much your fault imho.

If this update did one thing really well, it's the new missiles.

I make no bones about it being my fault for getting distracted. And yes the missile graphics may be a great piece of animation. But does that change the fact that tomorrow I may do as Lynn Young Borovskova did and switch them off.


Graphics may grab your attention for 5 minutes, but they have to have something more to them other wise they are "Avatar" a stunning visual effects movie, but once you get past that a load of ****.

And no I am not refering to the whole of EVE as that, I wouldn't be here if I was. I think CCP put a bit too much time, effort and hype into the missile anims, from your comment it's implied that CCP but too much too much time effort and hype into the other 80% and got too little back.

In fact EVE's new missile effects are almost as sexy as I am (I said ALMOST - I'm the sexyest person in all the cosmos).

I did not even say that anything else about this update was that good. If you look into the other threads, you'll see me complaining about the new inventory system and we all know that there's still not enough other content besides the, and i think you can agree with me here, great new graphics.

I think that we still want the same thing, but we should at least acknowledge the improved graphics as what they are.

I just finished cruise missiles V \o/

Why? damned if I know skippy I hardly ever use cruise missle launchers or a ship that can fit them. My Tengu just got a little more awesome sauce added to it though. Arrow
