You guys really dont like change do you, the way u lot are carrying on is as if they took away assets with no hopes of finding ur stuffs.
After reading what i did on the forums i really didn't want to log in but after i did i was like omfg what was all the fuss about its actually nicer, ye it will take time getting used too and a few bugs here and there but bascially is not in the same category as the ship spinning to kill boredom, there is no comparison.

Let me ask you this, what is the point of this post? Are you upset that we are upset over the inventory?

Also, if you where mad because you couldn't spin your ship, and not the that they where messing with our workflow, you are stupid.

Go to a pos that is defended with guns and try to use the new inventory. Try to do anything in space where there are numerous nearby containers. The **** does not work.

Have you tried undocking, or jumping? The inventory window opens and closes at random, if they could at least make it stay where I put it, I'd be more willing to give it a shot.

Or they can add a feature to go back to the old UI, you know, like they did with the Captain Quarters.

To be honest, I personally dislike working with an inventory system that not only amplifies some of the problems of its predecessor, but also adds a whole bunch of it's own problems.
My biggest problem so far tough is that Despite the large amount of feedback during testing nothing was fixed or improved much beyond the initial release on the test server.
Not to mention the silence from the DEVS around the entire issue at the moment.

Change is not the problem here, good change is always welcome.
But this is not good change, this is change for the sake of change and horribly done as well.

The new inventory system just makes in unnesecaryly hard to manage POS, Corp Hangars and Capital ships (and other ships with multiple hangars)

It's best compared to the Windows 8 Metro interface, its inefficient, it's slower and not designed for what it will be used for, but it looks good tough.

The worst thing tough is you, the OP, Are we somehow ruining your day in EVE by being upset about this?
We are not out to ruin your life specifically here.

Yes, yes it is.

And by "that bad", I mean worse.

In and of itself, perhaps not. But the possibility that this could actually remain live in TQ is ****ing insane.

And that's why it's worse.

I don't think you know what alleviate means. Spending ages clicking through windows to get to what would have opened up instantly on docking under the old system is not my idea of fun.

Mine kept closing at each jump (I prefer to keep it open). I also get a message at each gate the the item is out of my reach which took me a while to realize that it was referring to my inventory in station that it was still attached to.

Both are meh issues for me. Even if the inventory opens at a jump it opens in the location I put it so it's not like it is covering my screen preventing me from doing anything like a complete nub would do.

Do you smell what the Lock's cooking?

You've gotten further than I have with it. I've moved and resized the window at least 3 times, and it keeps popping up center screen. Seems like they haven't worked the bugs out of it yet.

In all fairness dude i dont think u understand what it means P
But my problem was reading all the negativity on the forums for the new interface when it actually isn't that bad and i mean lots of threads, so i thought i would post one to say how i thought it wasnt that bad and to see u lot be so negative and crying oooh we dont want it, turn it back boohoo, i'm just waiting for the rage quit threads now Big smile

They've said a few times that they are aware of this issues and are working on them. Would you rather them talk to you constantly to let you know they're aware of the problem while not getting anything done, or would you rather they not talk to you at all and actually get things done?

I must admit the only annoying bug is where it closes when u jump or dock but i found u have to position it whilst docked then close and then reposition while in space then close and it remembers the position but i am sure tahts another wee bug they are working on.

I just went to my pos to see how hard it was moving stuff around and it is soo much easier but then i dont use cans.
I am liking it more and more as i get used to it tbh.

It's not that bad for fucks sake.

Anyone who has a real interest in the game tested it out on Sisi and did their bitching there. Not keeping track of what is going on and then getting your panties in a bunch when the change happens is lame...

If I didn't have to launch the "awesome" window every damn time to do things in space it wouldn't be so bad. Also, this option is in right-click menu in space, that one is not. Dock and it's completely different. Pinning things where I want them works fine, until I dock. Then I have to launch the "awesome" window once again, separate and pin again. Jump through a gate and I get to go through the process all over again. I don't like huge windows covering my screen and once I re-size them I like them to stay that way and where I put them.

If you're a station trading pack rat, I suppose it's great. I need functionality and this isn't cutting it.

we did, they changed nothing that mattered to me, they only fixed the glaring bugs, like items that you could not get at thru the UI that we had to point out to them Roll

But we have to learn how to use it and stuff.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.
