Did you even read this thread at all? Wtf is the point of going on SiSi and leaving feedback if you morons don't actually give two ***** about what we think?

Write your own EVE?

You realise Eve has competitors already, right? Not that I would ever leave Eve, even if CCP do botch releases pretty regularly, but if they ever did annoy us to that extent we don't need to write our own game.

We'd just swap to a competitor.

Whilst yes, there are limitations to what can be implemented when on a deadline, releasing something with bugs as obnoxious and pervasive as the cargo hold reopening every single session change is pretty lame.

There are certain things that just shouldn't have been ignored. This is probably not an issue with the developers, this an issue with CCP management needing to learn how to set appropriate deadlines.

If it is unrealistic that a fully finished product will make the deadline, fine cut a few features and add them later. But if multiple major features (the UI and war decs) are receiving streams of negative feedback on testing, and you have bugs you simply cannot iron out in time, inferno release date should have been pushed back.

Of course then you'd all be on here complaining that the expansion was pushed back and what a failure ccp is at releasing things.

I bet they all had a big meeting and decided to release some bugs on purpose, just to upset everyone.

Oh well. So much for this game. Any game with bugs in an expansion release is obviously crap. Please let me know when your internet spaceship game comes out. It obviously takes someone with your nuanced grasp of game production to figure this stuff out and I think it'll be great to finally have a game that has no bugs, ever ... that is really the most realistic minimum standard.

From the few minutes I played with the new UI they have a decent base to start with, if they changed a few things around it would be great. I think it should still be on the test server though till they get it down.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

It's not a matter of not having any bugs, ever. It's a matter of not having major, commonly occuring and reproducable bugs that have been reported for weeks in public testing make it through to the final release.

I've never seen that in any product before Eve, let alone the fact that in Eve it happens regularly.

I think CCP should release another expansion that accidentally deletes your boot.ini. Then maybe you whiners would be grateful for a few little bugs.

Yeah because a bigger cluster f*ck always make me grateful fot the smaller ones. ( I was late patching that one so dodged the bullet)

My perception of a company I give money to shouldn't be, well at least they haven't fu**ed up as badly this time, I'm so grateful here have some more cash.
