Sisters of EvE reputation gains

I was looking for a NPC corporation that I could perform mission for that was in the neutral aspect of the game. I've heard of Sisters of EvE and I have done the first Epic Arc that pertained to them. But then I heard rumor that doing missions for them will increase your reputation with all major NPC corporations.
I was looking to either confirm this or find a "simple" way of raising reputation with the major factions without having to start from scratch with each one.

They only really help your Gallente and Minmatar reputation.

You can look at the info on the corp and see who's friendly with them. Those are the factions you'll get reputation with.

This link shows the relations between different factions.

No Faction is positive to all 4 of the main factions (except for interbus and Concord which you can't mission for)

Your "best bet" would be to mission for Ammatar. You will get nice Caldari/Amar standing and your Gallente/Minmattar will not drop below -2/-3 respectively.

True... I ran a bunch of SoE missions (not storyline, but normal missions) and it QUICKLY destroyed my Amarr standing. Went from 8+ to 4.x very quickly.

I take it you like to shoot Amar? Impossible otherwise.

High standings drop fast because of the way standings work in this game.

The further you are from min/max the more you gain. So like if you're at 8+ with someone and you run a mission for someone that's -6 with them, you'll end up losing 14 * whatever the % is. This is much more noticeable than the 2 * whatever % you would have gained if you had run the same mission for that faction.

Also SoE have a lot of shoot Caldari and Amarr missions. I feel like fewer shoot Caldari missions now that their lone level 4 sec agent is in Caldari space, but I'm still bitter about that. The steamlining of agent divisions really screwed SOE mission runners who were running them in Gallente space and freely shooting Caldari targets.

Sorry to break in here, but does this apply to the SOE Newbie Arc? I was about to run it, but may not if my faction standings are about to take void ammo to the face.

The noob arc actually lets you pick any of the four factions at the end and I think you get a considerable boost at the end of running it to the faction you chose.

Yeah, the level 1 SoE arc also doesn't give any derived standings to any of the other Factions.

This. But if you trigger a storyline for any of the factions while running the arc, those will give derived standings as per usual.

Many good posts and replies in the topic. What i've derived from this is if you wish to raie Gallente/Minmatar reputation I can quest with SoE.
If I wish to raid reputation with Ammar/Caldari, I should run missions for Ammatar?

If I decline missions, in moderation, that force me to kill major factions I shouldn't lose any standings... if I'm not mistaken.

Like? Six one way, half a dozen the other. I shoot what the agent tells me to shoot. ;-)

And in general, all of my toons were Caldari/Amarr dwellers with POS planting capability (until the SoE missions). Now, not so much. ;-) I was honestly surprised how badly the SoE destroyed my Amarr standing, all for some cheap SoE gear.

PS: I checked the last time I got a standing hit, and it did NOT involve shooting Amarr. Go figure.

Nonstoryline missions can't do it. You shot Amar, and not just Amar ships, but the structures that incur 2.4% hit per tick... a lot of them.Smile
