1: We're really trying to thin down the right click menu, so I'd prefer not having them back. One thing we could look into is shortcuts to different sections of the unified inventory? So you'd still open the unified inventory, but just on the exact tab you want.

2: Definately dealing with this. Not sure what the solution is but needs to be dealt with.

3: Fixed in tomorrows patch over downtime.

4: This doesn't have much to do with the unified inventory, but yes, I completely agree.



why do we need a trimmed down right click menu btw?


A right click menu with 15 options is about the worst functionality in the world.

Please see 37 pages of people providing detailed use cases where the new Inventory UI does not meet customer needs. CCP was well aware of the customer dissatisfaction with their proposed change.

CCP made the choice to code up a new UI for their own reasons and certainly not those based upon the experience of their seasoned, long-term customers.

Regarding the "combine ships and items", I just tried it, the result is quite strange, sounds like they "forgot" to remove this part of the old inventory.


This is something I'm very glad of, I always have my items and ships hangars combined and was glad to see them still intact, though having my active ships removed from the icons in the hangar rather than just being highlighted was not something I expected. Never thought I'd see a design feature like that again, I hoped those kind of bad usability features had died out in the 90s.

Ask your customers if they wish such a unfinished, more than stupid idea of an unified crap inventory. You guys do not listen to your paying customer base.

It was possible to put all available windows into only one till yesterday. But not only one did this. Because it was a stupid idea. Why should it be a good idea now?

While sitting still and right-clicking on a station in the Assets window, then selecting dock, a message pops up stating "You can not do that while warping" And then it warps and docks.

Ok guys its not unuseable give it a rest it needs some tweaks, it needs some missing features like remembering where windows where, and the shortcuts to sections and right click shortcuts back for gods sake, but its not unsubscribe unuseable for gods sake its been out for less than a day, ccp always has a ****** patch day and fixes most of the small annoying clusterf*cks the following day or 2

Can we have the old inventory back?

Looting missions is crazy. You can't do it. It now takes ten times as long. It is completely unplayable the way this is now.

What windows? I do not have windows I could use. Do you mean the SHIFT + CLICK -Crap? I demand seperate windows. Not a list of Wrecks in one window if I want to loot my mission.

Dear CCP, sorry, but this new inventory is rubbish. Have you tried to use it at a PoS? Our corp tried to pew pew today and we couldnt simply change our ships quickly because ALL structures in the grid must be loaded! Do you know, HOW many structures could be around PoSes? You are fantastic guys, no, realy. More coolest idea I cant imagine.

Are you testing your new stuff properly????

And poping up of this new UI after almost all jumps through gates and WHs is anoying!!!

New issues in UI:

- In the tree, the Items are AFTER the ships. But most of the time when I move stuff it is between a ship and the items hangar ... as a result I have to collapse the ships list, else the items are unreachable. (papercut)

- shift click to split items or to move a part of an item stack does'nt allways work if you do it several times in a row.


My main ship also has gone in low-resolution (a claymore), I will reset the cache and check if it fixes that. Other ships I have don't have the problem (as far as I have checked them).

EDIT: confirmed, even after cache reset, the Claymore is flat and blurred, where the Cyclone is sharp and clear ...

Not gonna read all the thread, so my 2 cents are:
1. The EVE Launcher starts every time and I have to manually press PLAY each time although i have checked the tickbox that says "...launch only when new patch available..."

2. I CANNOT LAUNCH TWO INSTANCES OF THE CLIENT BY USING THE SAME DESKTOP ICON LIKE I'VE DONE FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. Some **** regarding processes, closing ExeFile.exe and whatnot. This doesn't even deserve proper constructive criticism, it's just plain stupid.

And no, I don't want to use links or shell or whatever. I am lazy, stupid and I hate change. I do however pay monthly.

I'm also experiencing the Unified Inventory Window opening up after every jump. Traveling is now like this:

1) Warp to 0
2) Jump
3) Close Unified Inventory Window
....repeat

not seen this mentioned yet so might just be me...

selected item window wont do anything. if i select align, warp to, jump etc. it just ignores my command, i have to go back to rt click on the overview to be able to carry out the operation.

When running the game in fullscreen mode missile effects "build up" when you tab out of the game and then play all at once when you tab back in, causing lag and client lockup.

Quick looting is not possible with the new UI system. PLZ make it possible to use the old System again.

Seems like most people here are like me and are not in favour of the new UI interface.

I will add some constructive user information about it, which I sure needs to be fixed.

Senario: I want more than one UI open for my station cans numbered 1 & 2.
Solution: hold down SHIFT and double click on the station cans numbered 1 & 2.

Hey presto you have more than one UI open cans 1 & 2.

Now go back to station can 1 and carry out your shift held double click.

Station can 1 opens in a new window again and so will any other can that you hold SHIFT down while double clicking.

The result is that you will have the same station container open in unlimited windows, where the can should be only opened once like it used before todays update / launch.

Again just me two cents.

I log in a character in a nullsec system and see 11 people in local, 4 of them blues. But no fleet. So I ask on comms and it turns out that no one is actually online in that system. The neuts/reds are probably not there either. But local says otherwise. Relogging doesn't help. What's going on? Shocked
