Inventory window opens whenever I jump/dock

As title says, the newfangled inventory window will open whenever I jump or dock, regardless of whether I have it open already, have it minimized, or anything else.

It's extremely annoying.

Any solutions?

I can confirm I also get the inventory window opening after a session change.

This new inventory window totally sucks.

I have 5 labs and a corp hanger array at my POS and constantly was moving stuff between windows, it's how I work.

How the heck can I do that now?

Ok, so after additional investigation I've found that if you reset the default window positions, the problem goes away. You can then rearrange them normally to taste.

If you right click on the particular inventory section you want to open, there's an option to open it in a new window.

Or you can just hold shift and click it as well.

Wondered what everyone was going on about with this. Was in a Cane before and spent a bit of time playing with and setting up windows, undocked and wasn't having the problem.

Then jumped into a Jag and bang.....Cargo window popped up every time I gate jumped.

Back into the Cane. No window.

Made note of the fix (resetting cargo window for the Cane, must have resolved it) but I guess for the fix to work you'll have to do it for every ship you have.

And on top of the inventory box opening up as people have said...my chat window goes to local every time I jump and I have to click it back to either alliance, corp or fleet chat.

NOT good.

I dont think they realize that 85% of the people that move insane amounts of items HAS to be able to see the items in seperate windows. I have to visually see my cans! I have to tape down the shift key to open them up EVERYTIME! Come CCP make it an option for this new inventory window!

They fixed it this morning, but now it assumes that if you had the smaller shift-clicked window for your cargohold open, when you dock, it thinks you wanted to use THAT window for everything and no longer brings up the main inventory screen that would house things like ships, items, and corp hangers...

They 'fixed' it...but almost made it worse...
