Ok list of things CCP broke this time.

1. Hangars/Corp Hangars in station close after undock
2. Hangars/Corp Hangars in station don't remember there last position
3. Item, Ship, Corp hangar, Delivery hangar buttons are missing
4. Hangar name on tab is not seen now.... some junk added before it resulting in names being out of this tiny tab

5. Corp POS storage don't open in last closed place
6. Opening new POS storage close old one
7. Can't acces Corp hangars at POS... only way to do so is to find it from list of 150-200 positions

List of things CCP broke earlier and havent fix yet.

1. Hitting Dock button without enought cap for whole warp will stop you half way
2. Mission "Read Details" info don't remember position where were last time open

PS. Those things are broken, those arent changes, for changes you can count new filter's, left side item window tab or Est. price of goods in hangar

I'm glad it's not just me and everybody else who is noticing this - do you play the game perchance, I'm of the feeling that you actualy do play the game given this observation :).

How long to get back were we started and option to use old system? 3-6 months? :|

Guys, take it easy.

There are certain truths about designing UI that you would do well to consider.

1: There are as many ways to use the UI as there are players using it.
2: It is impossible to create a UI that everyone will like.
3: This is the first stage of the new UI.

With Inferno CCP are replacing an old system that has grown into maturity over many years of tweaking, adjustment and patching. You cannot expect the new UI to top that on day one. Give it some time and it will probably end up better than the 10 different open windows we used to have, and free up some screen real estate.

Instead of crying like someone just peed on your sugar sandwich, use it for a couple of days, then give some constructive criticism on what would make it better.

Well said. I tried using it for 20 minutes and found it unusable and constructively suggest they give the option to use the old system. I could spend all week, year indeed alifetime pllaying with it and conclude the same. But everybody is different, alas alot seem to be different in the same way when it came to this hanger bollocks and are also concluding along the same lines.

It's ship spinning all over again.

Actually, I can.

Step 1: figure out what the old system can do.
Step 2: make sure the new system can do it as well.
Step 3: add nice new features.

The problem is that it currently does the exact opposite: you used to be able to consolidate your inventories to a minimum of very clearly defined windows that did exactly what you wanted them to do; that appeared exactly where you wanted them to appear with the exact size you wanted them to be; and which had the exact settings you wanted. Now, you have to keep (re)opening windows that spill all over the screen because it cannot do any of those things any more.

If you wound up with 10 different windows open before, it's because you hadn't really thought about how to set those windows up and you didn't care that it kept happening… so the new system solves nothing for you. Now, you no longer even have the option to do that kind of setup, so you have to have those 10 windows instead — not only does the new system not solve anything, it recreates problems that had already been solved.

I'll start to take it easy when they start responding to people taking it easy.
Since they don't, it's time for brutality and harsh language.

Well, I saw your video, and yes I never set my windows up quite as complex as you do in there. I typically just had my hangar, with a bunch of station containers in it to keep modules sorted and reduce loading/searching times when looking for a module. You have to realize that your unique UI configuration is pretty specific and when creating a new UI it will be impossible to address every unique configuration that every player has set up.

That said, the points you make in the video are all valid and I think CCP will certainly address the issue with disappearing windows and the lack of "memory" when it comes to the settings and positioning of windows. That's a blunder, it apparently took longer to fix than the release date allowed and a decision must have been made between delaying, cutting the feature or launching and release follow up patches.

I just don't think you'll accomplish anything with harsh language and brutality. Most people here are making incarna references, flaming devs and demanding the old system back.
